Always great videos!! The best part for me is how you point out where to place the jack under the transmission. The little details like that are greatly appreciated. Thank you again for always producing informative content.
I always loves these videos that explain it clear enough that I will know if it's something I can do (either will skill or tools) or not. Thank you so much Miguel!
Wow this is a great tutorial on how to replace these parts. Very well explained! I feel like I myself could buy parts and change this out. Now only if I had all those tools.. 🤔
You said you notice shaking at idle? Did you notice it in park or was it only in gear? I am trying to diagnose a mild intermittent shake that I get at idle. I have looked at everything but the transmission mount and I didn't really properly inspect engine mounts yet....just visual inspection. Would a mild shake possibly be a bad transmission mount or should I be looking at something else? Fuel trims are all pretty good and misfires are not happening according to the data on my scan tool.
Make sure you RPM is good first. A bad motor mount can also cause vibration just being in idle like in an stop sign or when you accelerate or shift from park to drive
Yeah if both short and long terms are pretty good you can visually inspect the mount especially the transmssion mount . They break a lot and make sure you go OEM
@@Element_lifestyle yeah my rpms stay the same while I feel the intermittent shake. I describe it more as a shake than a vibration so I wasn't sure if it could still be a bad mount. Mounts are very hard to change on this car and hard to even visually inspect...
I recently drove my 2003 element with about 270k miles original transmission and engine and I need to replace the transmission mount and fluids but now I have no tools anymore I don’t know what to do 😪

You should give it a try. Thanks for the complement
No many tools need it.
This was helpful. Thankyou.
Honda parts are the way to go
I agree😎👍

Good video! Thank you!
Great video!😁
How did you determine that the transmission mount wss the issue?
Would have loved if you would have started the car and I could here the vibration to compare to my issues
I do have a video of the diagnostic on transmission mount . Let me look for the link 😎👍

Great video thanks
After installing a new transmission mount my car is vibrating why do you think is that?

Do you guys think the aftermarket is going to last at least 2 years without any major vibration to the interior cabin?
my friends didn't, looks like all aftermarket is junk for the mounts based on the research I did. We went with OEM instead.
What if my mount is fine but still shakes? All of them
Are they new OEM honda mounts? If not, that may be why, or maybe one is too loose.
