My calathea is browing at the edges. It doesn't look happy. I must it daily 2-3 times. Soil mix looks like majorly cocopeat with a bit of garden soil when I bought it from.nursery. water just trickles down immediately after i water it. I haven't reported it yet.
Also, where to find garden soil, river sand,? I stay in jaipur and there's only desert type loose sand available here.

Keep a tray filled with water at the bottom and leave it for some time. Take it out after 1\2 hours.

Pune mei Stomathe garden soil mei he milta hai. But replacing entire soil with this potting mix is risky. I have 4 types of calethea and all were in garden soil. I replaced soil of one Stomathe with coco peat + compost but died. Now this is raining so just wanted to know whther I can try again?
I noticed in 3 years that these plant hate to relocate. They stay happy where they are from years

I've Calethea Makoyana, 3rd Plant. Finding it hard to keep it moisturized. Although I'm spraying RO water everyday in every morning and feeding calcium potassium grains once in 2-3 weeks. Can you suggest me a suitable place for this plant ? I used to keep it on my trading setup platform. Now shifted towards window table.
