Diptyque eau Capitale Hair Mist or edp?

- Long story short, I wore Akro Night to dinner.
Eau Capitale came out in 2019.
Perfumer: Olivier Pescheux, who did so many of the Diptyque perfumes.
The main notes are rose and patchouli.

So happy to have found this video because literally this morning I ordered the Fleur de Peau hair mist as a way of having Fleur de Peau for less$$. Now I’m more excited to get it!

I think you're on to something. I used the cheaper Tom Ford body oils before and they were almost identical to wearing the EDPs with reduced projection.
Oh that's good to know. I haven't used a Tom Ford ancillary product but I'm not opposed to it. Worth a shot, I would say, and always better than searching for a dupe.
Smelled Eau Capitale last year and the first thing I thought of was POAL and its similar characteristics to EC. EC is on my wish list, so I think I might give the hair mist a go. Sounds like a ‘capital’ plan 😁. Thank you for the compare and contrast review!
For the price, I think it’s a great plan!
I have recently started to just add a spray of my regular perfume onto the back of my head. Not sure what damage it's doing, but hair and perfume is a good combo.
Am i right in thinking that hair mists are usually more water than alcohol?
Usually, but this one still has alcohol as the first ingredient.
Thanks for the comparison to POAL which I recently bought , but struggle to get my use out of because of the crazy projection (even though I love the scent!) Question: what is your handle on Fragrantica? I am curious :)
Canadianbeauty. Glad I’m not the only one who struggles to use POAL. I wonder about the Malle Hair Mists. My mom has the POAL body butter and it is potent. A dab will do you.
If I weren't an increasingly balding man, I might even give that mist a try. 😂
I got a sample of Eau Rhila from the Diptyque store. It's interesting. Not quite sure what I think of it yet.
It wasn’t for me - like a softer version of Tuscan Leather, although I do appreciate how refined it is. I ended up giving my sample to a friend who really enjoyed it. But you can spray the hair mist on clothes and it works well!
...Two more bottles killed. Off to dinner she goes.
