Big comment coming but waited to the end… 1) Ops at this park can be absolutely terrible as you saw. In September 2022 we turned up on an off peak day and ended up buying fast pass to make sure we got everything done. Poor really. 2) Miscommunication and lack of staffing is a big issue. For their Halloween event they have a policy that there’s no bags allowed *unless* you’re already in the park. So we asked what to do, got told to get a wristband, approached staff member with wristbands who said they had none. Got told to exit and re-queue to re-enter, only to be denied access because we’d already left the park and had a drawstring bag. Got in the park to see lockers were in use after being told they weren’t, and people had bags. 3) Mako is mint. 4) I got drenched on Infinity Falls, but loved it. 5) I think the park is great but operationally a shambles.

As a Central Florida local, it is a well known fact that operations at Sea World suck. And the food is way overpriced. They are trying to get away from being an animal park and rebranding themselves as a roller coaster park. They have put in a new coaster every year for the last few years. They are spending a ton on coasters and then don't have the money left in the budget to staff the park adequately. Disney and Universal also get better staff because they pay better. The film "Black Fish" almost killed Sea World and they are still trying to recover. Those of us who have been following them for years give them a little grace because they are trying to keep their heads above water.

Tell me you aren't spoiled and dealing with first world problems without telling me you aren't spoiled and dealing with first world problems 😂....I question if you've ever been to another park besides Disney or universal now. I had to stop watching your video after 4 min and was looking forward to seeing your initial reactions.
Staffing should always be at lockers to aid with any issues, there were queues of people all lined up struggling which should never be the case and staff passing the blame, when there were staff around as it was few and far between. Expecting people to take their phones / belongings on ride with them without anywhere to store them (on some rides) is shambolic. Piss poor operations and a shambles of a visit that was saved by superb rides and lovely weather. If that's the standard of US parks and how they operate (outside of Disney and Universal) then at least the UK is finally winning in one department at the very least :)

Thanks for making me aware.
@@notdavea5778 I thought it was best to include it as yes it still occurs and it's still very much a part of their live shows despite moving away to a more ride focused 'theme park' I won't shy away from it and I feel that people who cut it out of their content only do so because they don't want the backlash but that's not authentic, you're still visiting one way or another despite what stance you have on the situation and I thought I should keep it in despite certain disagreements I have with this / the dolphin show but it's a part of the park whether liked or not (by myself or others) for the foreseeable.
@notdavea5778 thats true loads of videos skip it out their trip convienitly as it's a sore subject. From what read online about this issue is the orcas they have now are too old and humanised(obviously sea worlds fault) so they can't be let back into wild they would die or be eaten by prey almost immediately. I've read that when these orcas they have now die they are not getting anymore...Well see.
@@laurs5551 yes that was what I understood. I think I thought the orcas had already died simply because no has shown them in a show for years. Thanks to Sean for showing us the truth. But then that is what we expect from @Lifthillsandthrills. Which is why it’s been a joy seeing him love Disney and universal so much.
Tell me you aren't spoiled and dealing with first world problems without telling me you aren't spoiled and dealing with first world problems 😂....I question if you've ever been to another park besides Disney or universal now. If you go on a weekday, staffing will be light at Sea world. You don't need attendants at a locker. Super easy and paying for lockers is nothing new. It is done at 98% of the parks in the USA.
