Bangladesh had a proper cricket structure and were professional cricket players whose only job was playing cricket and that is not the case with the USA team. We also lost to Ireland in the world cup you are mentioning. It was not a bad day at the office, we also lost one match to Ireland recently and barely beat New Zealand at home. With the population and level of craze cricket in India has + all the wealth of BCCI which is greater than rest of the cricket boards put together, India should be dominating world cricket as hard as the Aus team of early 2000s. The fact that India hasn't won a single ICC trophy in a decade is insane and hardly believable. Don't get me wrong, India is pretty dominant bilaterally and rarely loses outside of knockouts, but the fact that tiny countries like Aus which have less than 2% of India's population can even compete with India on an equal footing is crazy and makes us a gross underachiever, especially when cricket is not even the biggest sport in Australia lol Subcontinent countries and to some extent middle east countries as well suck when it comes to sports. Thank you for your sentimental but truthful commentary. I believe the truth lies in the incapability of the Pakistani players to cope up with the modern game. It seems that players are more interested in their own individual performances than the team they play for. I used to be a Pakistan cricket fan but today quite honestly I was supporting the USA. At least we have done a favor for the promotion of cricket in the US. This team has no backbone. The players are overrated and over hyped by Pakistani media. They are quite ordinary players but only excel in home conditions. Pakistani fans should not expect anything great from this team. They will only be disappointed.

Somehow i feel pakistan lowers their playing standard according to opposition, they make practice matches interesting and give confidence to inexperienced team.
South Africa vs Zimbabwe group match was washed out by rain and DLS method was not applied as 5 overs were not completed if only one ball was bowled SA would have been declared victorious and would have gotten full points and even after losing to Netherlands they would have marched onto the semifinal. Pak was superbly lucky in that tournament.
Proven Weaknesses and continued mistake in selected team.. 👉No Proven Finisher is selected like Asif Ali who bring Pakistan to SF and Final in previous WC. 👉AZAM and SAIM are proven weak link after continued failures and they still bring them in WC team and no replacement choosen. 👉No Backup middle order batsman like Agha Salman or Haris who performed at no 4 in WC is selected as backup. 👉No Wicket taking spinner like ABRAR playing in 11. And didn't bring USAMA MIR when he was only performing. 👉No inform middle order batsman in team and no inform all rounder in team so poorest batting line after no 4.. 👉Bowlers have no plan against batsman and no field trap streategy just throwing bowls without using mind. 👉Main reason is bring SHADAB, AZAM and SAIM in WC team after continued failure and didn't select proven performers in previous WC even no replacement picked In squard..: :
Yes all these are mistakes.. Bur the biggest mistake pak carrying forward since last 3 years is babar as a captain and opener.... He himself knows that he plays better at 3.. but open ki lalach, aur world ke aajtak ke sabse ghamandi, adiyal aur nakaara captain hona pak ko duba gaya... Now PCB should pull back this team after india match by giving walkover to others.. And build the team from scratch again.. Thank you for your sentimental but truthful commentary. I believe the truth lies in the incapability of the Pakistani players to cope up with the modern game. It seems that players are more interested in their own individual performances than the team they play for. I used to be a Pakistan cricket fan but today quite honestly I was supporting the USA. At least we have done a favor for the promotion of cricket in the US. This team has no backbone. The players are overrated and over hyped by Pakistani media. They are quite ordinary players but only excel in home conditions. Pakistani fans should not expect anything great from this team. They will only be disappointed.
