I haven't seen this video before. I'll bet you count this as one of your best trips. I've been in several of your spots minus the peak bagging and can say that your video work was fantastic. The basins of the Sierra are full of beautiful lakes. Maybe I'll see you on the trails one day. This was my first year to use a packer and I believe it will extend my hiking in the Sierra.

Yep. This one was a good one for sure!! I was just reminiscing with my mom about this trip actually. lol. We just got back from another trip. Went up to Horton lake and climbed Mt. Tom and Basin Mtn and then went over to the Whites and climbed White and Bancroft. It was awesome. Tom was a butt kicker! But totally worth it.

@@Earthculturemusic I have a good friend who lives near Rovana. He watches the skiers come down Mt. Tom in the winter. He has Mt. Tom out his front window and White Mt. Peak out his back window.

An absolutely lovely video although the music isn't really necessary, a beautiful landscape speaks for itself. Cheers!

Is public transportation available to take me from South Lake to the town of Bishop when I finish this backpacking trip?

    • @Earthculturemusic

There is no public transportation from South Lake. But it's pretty easy to hitch a ride with someone up there.

Sierra Nevada is Spanish for "Snowy Mountain Range". No need to say "snowy mountain range mountains".
