Thank you for posting and saving people some time. Editing? This could be two minutes, not 20+. Since I already know how to wander aimlessly, I skipped to 7:21 to see precisely how to pull the alternator from the vehicle, the location, the orientation, and the direction to move the alternator at the moment it actually clears. That was valuable and worth the effort of searching. However, I believe you can pull it along the same path while keeping the pulley toward the passenger side, that is to say, without rotating 180 deg as in the vid (which put the pulley toward the driver side.) Also, 3:10 no need to remove the 10mm on top of the bracket, it comes along for the ride when you remove the 12mm at 4:34 .

You were doing something with the belt, what I didn't see is where do you put the wrench and is this where you release the tension to pull the belt out. I like that explain in more detail.

you can get the serpentine belt tensioner tool at Harbor Freight for $18.99 and just as good as the one he is using. Just make sure the sockets are metric

removing the engine cover may help. I took off radiator fan. Quick 2 bolts and one just loosen. Alternator came out MUCH easier

Thanks for this vid. What was that extension tool you used to remove the belt? A link would be great!
