Uncovering the Truth: 'Hear Him' and the Message of Jesus Christ

  • In this video I discuss the fact that the world is not as good at discerning truth as it thinks it is. There is a desperate need to learn how to discern what is true and what is not for ourselves, rather than relying upon others to tell us what is right.
Those that are tracking events related to Ezra's Eagle, you might find this article interesting:

I've read all your books and compared every scripture you've provided!! I've done the work, prayer and study to decern for myself! I listen to the prophet and apostles as well. WE ARE IN THE VERY LAST DAYS!!! I'm watching Ezra's Eagle play out and hope myself it's not going to come true!!! But EVIL is in our government, and nothing will surprise me now!!!

Covid blew my mind because so much happened so naturally and in ways I never expected. I expected EE will have some natural surprises as well that we can look back on and say "of course", but without MBR's scholarship I would never have found EE. Thank you Michael - I'm a guy that reads the scriptures and sometimes I get very little from them - my mind wanders and I miss the significance of what I have read - however - the Lord has blessed me in such a way that when I hear truth plainly, I feel the spirit telling me that what I'm hearing is true and good - I know you are not a prophet and that you are just a fellow with thoughts and ideas that are based on your own research - but the spirit tells me that what you are saying is true - when I read the Isaiah chapters now, they make sense and I'm so grateful to you for helping me search and gain my own testimony and understanding of things to come - I look forward to the coming months and I too hope that you are wrong - but at the same time what will be will be - I'm 82 tears old and all my life I've known that that these are the last days I have been living in and I pray to see more of what I know is coming - thank you again Michael!

I will echo your response! I purchased "The Complete Book of Enoch" and have read about a third of the book. Michael of greater understanding bc he has the benefit of reading so many ancient texts. Getting to that same level of understanding may not be possible for me personally, but I feel strongly that I have been led to Michael's books by the Spirit and have had these feelings over and over again.

Brother Hugh Nibley wrote 8 articles about the books of Enoch (Watchers, Giants... covenants to Enoch and Noah) published in the Ensign - the Church's official organ of communication - in 1975/76. He once said in a BYU class that it was "just getting good" (after 8 installments: "A Strange Thing In The Land) when they "cut it off". I was only 19 at the time and those articles were very difficult to read; I read ever one of them! What brother Rush says about preparation is really true. Our minds need time to process these things. When I read brother Rush's books they did not seem crazy to me because I had already "processed" this information. We are running out of time. I have given many, many of Michael's books to brother's and sisters that I know, and most of them will not even read a book that is bought for them! I don't buy books for others any longer because it it not usually helpful. Brother Rush is right: We need to be taught by the Lord and through The Spirit in the quiet of our homes and in our times of study and reflection, meditation, and prayer.

Brother- thank you for all you have said. I came across you in 2020 and what you did do for me, was remind me to study the words of Isaiah. You have said that, the Lord has said that. You sent me on a journey that has been amazing. I have done so much work to understand his words.
I personally enjoy the Ezra’s Eagle prophecy. I think it is there to remind us, as the Book of Mormon does, that there are secret combinations in our country and the world. I don’t hang my testimony depending on what happens January 21 2025. I’m not that dumb! I’m much stronger than that.
That being said- I think Biden already became a short feather. I take the scriptures symbolically not literally. He has been cut short and I dare say, one of the heads has exposed themselves through the replacement of him.

Michael I just want to say thank you for all your research and study and for sharing it with us. I found you because I had a dream that I thought was crazy at the time. I was studying D&C 109 and contemplating what it meant to study out of the best books and to learn through study and by FAITH when I fell asleep. In my dream I was waiting for a craft to come to take me to see the Savior at the Salt Lake temple. The craft came and I got inside and I remember being amazed by the technology they had, it was spherical with windows wrapped around in the middle so from inside you had panoramic views of below, in a matter of seconds it took me to Salt Lake (I currently live in Southern California and I believe that is where I got in the craft). I had the impression that it was from the city of Enoch. I immediately woke up from this dream wide awake when the craft was hovering above the Salt Lake temple. There is more to my dream but that is the gist of it. I shared a little about my dream in the comments section of another LDS you tuber who talks about the second coming. Someone in the comments asked me if I followed Michael B. Rush and I replied no I didn’t know who you were. So I looked up your channel and listened to ‘A Remnant Shall Return’ and I was blown away about how some of the things in your book lined up with my dream especially the ships of Chittim, the lost tribes and the city of Enoch returning. I have since read the book of Enoch and your book of Enoch and am reading the book of Jasher which has given me so many insights and added so much to my spiritual study. Before this dream I was probably somewhat of an ostrich, I felt like the second coming was soon but I didn’t know how to really study and learn from the Spirit. Now I feel like my learning has accelerated at a much greater pace, in part thanks to you. I know that I was given that dream for a reason and without it I would have thought all this stuff was crazy. I have had a few dreams in the past that have come true and in my Patriarchal blessing it says I will have dreams in the night that will help me to live as I should. I know from experience not to discard these dreams even if they seem crazy. Anyways maybe this dream was only for me but I am sharing because I hope maybe it can help someone else and I wanted to thank you and hopefully encourage you that you are helping many people.

We’ll be witnesses of the power and mighty of our Father and declare that all prophesies made were fulfilled! I started studying the Signs of the Second Coming around ‘93, when I was a teenager. People told me it was going to take centuries for it to happen. Well, yeah, it has been 30 years already, but I was so excited. Knowing myself, I knew I was going to sign up to witness the last days. No way I was going to be born in the last dispensation and miss the Second Coming… I just knew it. I have cheered and celebrated every sign and expansion of the kingdom. I’ve had my ups and downs but I know the important thing is to continue pushing forward. I love my Savior and strive to follow him. Thank you for sharing your testimony and weird ideas, they have encouraged and helped me to seek to know who my Savior is and what I lack yet. Thank you!!!!

So well said. I am amazed at how young Michael was when he started to study deeply. And sounds like you were also digging into signs of the last days.
Me, I was playing baseball, basketball, sports etc. Also dating, laying out in the sun, chasing the next fun activity. Working at a pizza place in high school making $3.35 an hour.
It was not until my mission that I seriously started to study the scriptures. Fortunately the Lord did answer my prayers and I have a certain witness of God, Christ, restoration, BOM, etc.
But I am concerned about the direction the church went in the 1840’s. I believe Joseph & Emma were fighting against the lustful, adulterous doctrine of multiple wives & virgins, (D&C 132) and concubines.
Joseph and Hyrum were killed as their efforts to rid the church of that devilish doctrine took root. Can’t wait to hear from The Lord that marriage covenant is only between one man and one woman.
I have stopped worrying how my wife’s heart would break if I had/needed my own harem throughout eternity. I absolutely could not do that to her tender feelings.

We will be immortals someday.. we don’t know or maybe realize the realm of God as mortals and how things really are. Our reality is not our reality and unless you have eyes to see and allow your mind to be opened- you miss so much. And definitely won’t be prepared as to what is coming!

I was brought up Presbyterian and my parents brought us up very faithful in Jesus Christ. But I knew something was missing since I was 4 years old. I wanted to know the plan of salvation. No other church had it because I finally found it in the true church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Anyway no one in my family knew the fullness of the gospel. It made sense to me. I then served a mission in Argentina and I can tell you everyone was looking. The people were in tune. Anyway I like what you’re saying I just had to put this out there. I’ve seen people leave the church since the pandemic and then people who had no God, turn around and convert to Christianity.
Ezra Taft Benson said the members of the church better turn around and get in tune with the spirit and with the truth of the gospel. I’ve been looking at Ezra’s eagle for about 6-7 years now. So I’m open. Thanks

My ancestors did join the church and I owe so much to them, but because of what we know that his sheep will hear his voice I have confidence that I would have followed Christ or that I would have recognized his gospel when it came to me. Sometimes I feel like we discount ourselves and the light which we received before this life and say we would never have accepted it if it weren't for others. I believe those that have joined the church had a close relationship with our Savior before this mortal life and that he placed us here both at a time when he knew we would accept the truth and also in the time we needed to be here most.

Posting this on 2 channels. I listened to a video from @GospelLessons and then listened to a video from @MichaelBRush. Both are obviously about the same conversation. The @GospelLessons video is erudite, theological, and academic and becomes more accusatory than spiritual. Made me think about Rev 12 and Isaiah 54:17. It tries to be fair, but IHMO the tone more closely resembles political discourse than charity. The @MichaelBRush video felt much closer to how Christ reacted when accused and more closely resembles how modern prophets respond to criticism.
I'm sure both of you have righteous motivations and what both of you have taught. I think the advice from @MichaelBRush is more closely aligned with scriptures and matches recent advice from Pres Nelson more closely than the warning from @GospelLessons. This situation feels a lot like Pelatiah Brown (TPJS 288) ... I don't think there is a need to haul someone up before the high council (or call them out) for erring in doctrine. I think the better approach is what JS recommended in that sermon about not having creeds.

I really appreciate your efforts in expounding the scriptures. Pay no mind to the critics. Sadly, it seems so many of the saints are determined to remain narrow-minded. It wish it wasn't this way. I have always appreciated your approach, in that, when you expound a doctrine, you always direct me and your readers and listeners to the words of our modern-day prophets, seers, and revelators, and to our ancient prophets through the scriptures. You've helped me to read and understand the scriptures with much more clarity. I have found your ideas inspiring and uplifting, as they have motivated me to seek for further light and knowledge through mediation, prayer, and seeking the Holy Ghost. So, thank you for that. BTW, I recently finished Vol. 2 of your Book of Enoch series, and have thoroughly enjoyed both volumes. I can't wait for Vol. 3.

I'm so glad you addressed it this way because I have been guilty of watching too many TH-cam vids and I need to get into the scriptures and seek those things our prophet has warned us to do. I always appreciate your perspective because I feel the same way. I searched for the gospel through my entire life of hell. I finally met the missionaries at age 18. Almost 27 years later and I have only met a very small handful of people who “get it” and most of them are converts too. I watch others who grew up in the church who seem confused and conflicted on so many issues. It’s hard to watch because I feel like I’m the weirdo. I know that’s not true but maybe it is? Anyway, I remember years ago when we lived in in SC, we were studying the NT on the parts with the Pharisees. Seeing the patterns I was seeing, I commented, are we not like the Pharisees even today? The discussion and readings were relevant to the comment. Well, I could feel the anger and contention in the room. It went dead silent. I’ll never forget when that happened.
I hear people and in my husband’s family too saying that they’ve prayed about certain things such as Ezra’s Eagle and they were told it’s not necessary for their salvation. People seem to not understand that there are other spirits influencing them and sometimes our own voices can be mistaken for the spirit. I have never had one conversation with the Lord where He has said that to me. I have known about Ezra’s Eagle since 2017. I’ve done a lot of reading and studying and there’s just so much to learn. I believe there are many reasons President Nelson asked us to study D&C 109. One of the verses in there tells us to read out of the best books. He has made many references to other scripture. Are we not putting limits on what those could be just as much as the people who don’t believe in the Book of Mormon because they have a Bible?
I love The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. I recommend reading it because arguably, this kind of limited thinking indeed comes from the enemy of our souls.
Back to what my in-laws have said to me, I ask them and others who share the same sentiments, what could be more necessary for our salvation than study out of the best books? Even second Ezdras which doesn’t teach the gospel of Jesus Christ etc. rather it teaches us about conspiracy and secret combinations which we can expand upon in the Book of Mormon. How can we sharpen our discernment if we don’t know what we’re looking at to discern?! Remember, these books were in the original KJV Bible that we read today… it’s like that fact is being entirely disregarded as well.

I’ve seen so many that believe that only the prophet receives revelation, only the school or Primary can teach their kids, and only doctors can care for their health. It amazes me, people have been demoralized from all sides! I try to declare as boldly and loud as I can for everyone to take responsibility for themselves and their families. I agree with you on your member archetypes! I have seen this in most wards, especially in Utah, Idaho, and Washington. It’s just blah most of the time. People don’t even know what they have a testimony of… I rarely hear people testify of the Jesus Christ. It’s just so odd to me.
Going back to what Michael said in this video about how strange and ludicrous the gospel sounds and whatnot. I never really thought of it that was myself, I guess I was made for accepting truth no matter how odd it is 😆 anyway, a thought came to my mind about what he said about most members likely wouldn’t have joined the church if they weren’t born into it. I think this is the challenge with the church, the gospel history with Joseph Smith etc. seems so far-fetched and hard for people to believe, it’s even hard for them to understand who our Savior is. His story was and is not understood for what it is. It’s too weird even for many members. This is why I think so many spoke struggle and often fall into one of the two camps you mentioned. If the tables were turned, would they be in the church today?

However, I've learned so much that when I do read for myself, I have better historical context to understand the scriptures better. And everything should be ran through the filter of the spirit. That enables me to listen to anyone from any walk of faith and find the truths in what they're saying.

I have many family members over the generations since my ancestors converted that have left the church or were only luke watm members. We all have to decide to take upon us his name and carry the cross. The gospel is beautiful and Christ centered. We are responsible for our own learning and salvation. We cannot place that burden on the prophet anymore than the Israelites could place that upon Moses. I am grateful for my ancestors. I am grateful to the Lord for my trials that refine me to be who I should be. I am deeply grateful for the gospel, scriptures, and the temple. I am grateful for the blessings of personal responsibility and learning. I may not fully understand everything, but with study I know God will reveal in time. I know that my personal experiences have brought me to a better understanding of the scriptures and His gospel. Thank you Michael for your ideas and thoughts. I appreciate that you follow the prophet in the fact that our testimonies are in our hands and in and the Lords. Only the Spirit of the Lord can bear testimony to us of truth, pure truth and that is getting hard to discern because not all people know or say the truth.
One thing that bothers me is how you discourage us from studying with other scholars from on line. They are doing good things and are helping to bring people closer to the Savior. They say things in a way that makes it easier to understand and get excited about the study of the gospel. We do need the spirit of discernment when we study with them and in all things. They are like having a commentary on line. Through their ideas and experience I have been tutored through the Spirit and have been blessed richly by their testimonies. This is how I found you and your books! Not all of us are blessed with scholarly attributes.
The thing is that we shouldn't let it stop there! I have always loved digging deeply into the scriptures modern day and ancient and I consider General Conference talks as scripture. I hunger and thirst for the things of the Spirit. I will read or hear about a topic and the Spirit will impress upon me the subjects that I should follow out in a deeper study. I have had learning disabilities all my life and so study can be very hard for me, but with the help of my Heavenly Father, His Son and the Spirit of the Holy Ghost I am tutored from the Highest! I know that there are many out there that are feeling the same way.

It's so hard to believe how many people in the church can not see the workings of the secret combinations in the world, let alone how far along they are in achieving their goals. What other people have been given such clear warning.
    Ether 8:24 Wherefore, the Lord COMMANDeth you, when ye shall see these things come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you;

As long as you're following and doing what the prophet says, you keep going.

You mean the scriptures right? If you don't, I don't think you understand at all what he just said.
