In the speakeasy today wondering if we should buy or pass on these 6 bourbons, whiskey! David has 6 samples poured, he labels them with price hidden on each glass, I mix them up while his back is turned so he can do it blind. We nose, taste, and review each glass. Reveal the price and decide if we want to buy it again. This brings up a good conversation, likes and dislikes are challenged. Then we reveal! Let us know what bottles you would buy again! Woodford Reserve was the first bourbon I regularly drank. I keep it on my shelf, but rarely drink it anymore. I just got a Jim Beam Black 7 Year and think it’s good for the price.

Jim Beam is $22.oo including Tax at Sam's.. I like it for a neat sipper.. I also like l 1783. And tonight I had Rittenhause Rye as a mixture for my High Ball...

I really like the Sazerac Rye myself. I don't get the floral note, but it is a bit mild and for $30 I would buy it as well. Not a fan of the Evan Williams either even at $15 I'm with you on this one I'd spend more to get something else. I've never tried the Old Overholt, don't think I will be trying that one based on not only your review but your facial expressions 😂🤣😂🤣Woodford Reserve but only the double oaked is a good poor in my opinion. Love the video, and Great job on picking the bottles.

The new Jim 7 I love. Sazerac rye is like my favorite rye, tastes and smells like Christmas to me. Can not stand the Evan Williams Black Label. Woodford was the bourbon that I tried that I really liked. Have not tried Russel 10

Bourbon Junkies video today was a 9-way blind and Dan literally spit out the JB Black, they both placed it in last. So with what you and David said I'll stick with my KC 9 at $28.

@@deankruse4491 It’s crazy how I liked it at the beginning of the blind, after tasting the line up it was challenged to step up and it didn’t. For the price it wasn’t bad but I couldn’t get excited to buy it again. For the cost people should try it if they really want to. These are “our opinions”, I can’t answer for anyone else. Cheers🥃

I really like like the Old Overholt 114. The price is great, and it is full flavor notes. It is one of the whiskeys that really got my journey started.

Each person has their own definition of "affordable". I'm generally comfortable spending under $40 on a new bottle and I'll spend $100-ish if I know it's good. I LOVE Evan Williams Black even though most people don't approve. Woodford Reserve is quality. I like the other two Old Overholts but I haven't seen the 114.

I do enjoy the Old Overholt 114 it’s 19 in my area. Don’t buy the black label EW no proof the Sazerac is a good bottle Woodford is good but there are better bottles out there. I buy the Russell single barrel over the 10 year it’s just better. And the JB 7 year black I haven’t tried it yet but it’s certainly inexpensive a handle here is 28. Good job on picking which one was which. Enjoy.
