I’ve been saving my strawberry fields forever for a while and have also picked out a pink fabric for it (ice rose from number 12 stitch company). I had been debating whether it would work but seeing as you are going for it I feel reassured.

I enjoyed seeing all the future starts. I stitched Nessie Mitchell for my blessing sampler in January. It was a fun stitch and went fairly quickly. It was my first attempt at over one and it went pretty well. Have fun with all your starts!

It was so great to see you both together and hear about your plans. You have inspired me - next year I have one of those birthdays that end in 0. The number is far too big to have that many starts, so, I will have a start on the 4th of each of the first 9 months to reach my bday. I plan to stitch 70 hours on each start. (That's a clue to my age!)
That’s a really great plan to celebrate your big year! I agree 70 starts would be a lot. Starting something really special each month and giving it 70 hours would be fantastic!

I am looking forward to finally having an excuse to start the Quacker Quaker 🥳 I somehow have the feeling that Summer will still be going strong at the retreat weekend, it did that last year too, which is really strange, as officially we should be switching slowly to autumn, and I do not do well when it is so hot. So my birthday might just be a side note during the retreat, but that is OK. 🌻
25 in 25 would be a good idea. Any combination of 25 finishes or fully finishes. That would help move along all the new stitches from this year and an average of 2 a month seems doable if there are a fair number of smaller projects.
Great suggestion Amy. We have both considered WIPGO for next year because 25 seemed like a good idea. I think I’m mostly going to be left with quite big projects carrying over as the smalls have been easier to achieve as I’ve been going along. 🤔
