Amazing couple of days you had there, “magnificent seven” as well! Love the look of that new hide too. I’ll be in KNP and Sabi Sand from Monday, can’t wait!
People just like to complain got my a1ii yesterday and the AI and pre-cap alone are a solid reason to upgrade. The body, lcd, ibis too and then my guess about 50 smaller updates. Did i have to pay yes, did it sting a little yes but after 4 years using the a1 i am looking forward to 4 years with the a1ii.
Awesome! Very nice video - Kings Camp looks a great location. I must add to my list to visit. For the A1ii I can't wait for mine to arrive, hope it will be before January when I go to India 🤞 What you were shooting with the A1ii and 300 GM really is the dream team of photo gear for wildlife photography.
@@karolinanoreewild Of course. The colours and sharpness were quite exceptional. Love the darker backgrounds you were able to get. Being able to use that wonderful 300 2.8 and the perspective and quality it brings is such a benefit. My favourite lens.
@@karolinanoreewild I am jealous, too, seeing you in these nice environments! My safaries in South Africa and Namibia were around 2010, I have to come back asap
No not much at all actually. I will if I have to but, none of the photos in this video are cropped much at all. I simply just frame it in different ways depending on how far away the animal is, and just work with the focal length that I got 👍
As good as cameras are these days, no one touches Sony’s AF for sharpness when the distances get farther off & in low light. Great to see them giving their customers what they ask for with the ergonomics, Focus Stacking (I would use that). So how many fps shooting full raw & buffer with the A7R5?
It really excites me that you seem to really enjoy the A1ii with the 300+1.4tc. Because I invested in the 300+1.4tc and I have the A1 which I’m really pumped to take on safari! Do you feel when you have the 300 that you need to be wider often? Or does the 300 pretty handle most situations?
Yes it’s such a great combo I’m very happy with it! I feel that 300mm is a great focal length for wildlife. Very rarely do I feel the need for something wider, but in the future I’ll be investing in a 70-200 for those situations 😊
She is using the camera as in a perfect setting showing why its in sony's lineup and all you are sending as a signal that its not for you as a video shooter given its not a crime its just someone who demands his usecase is all our use cases.
That 300 is really fabulous! Gorgeous picts Karolina!
Woow! Mega schöne Bilder ❤❤❤🎉
I could burst with envy. The camera, the lens, the pictures, the places.... ;-)
😍❤️ stunning, amazing and beautiful. As always 😊😊😊
Great video and wonderful pictures.
Fantastic, can't wait for the A1 II as well and take it on your tour in July.
That’s awesome! I’ll definitely be a bit jealous of you then 😅
Lovely vlog! Amazing how green it is! I think you need to check your mic settings as it looses detail at the loudest noises.
@@DaniConnorWild thanks Dani! Actually ordered a new mic so hopefully it will work better, but thanks for letting me know!
cant wait to get it thank for the awesome pics ...

That’s awesome, hope you have a fantastic time!
Fantastic video Karolina, some lovely sightings and what a hide that is...better than some motel rooms !!! Safe travels !!! 🤠😎
Thanks very much! Hahah yes absolutely agree!
Stunning images and video, love the setup. I have the A7RV and the 300 2.8, love them. My A1ii is on order, hopefully arrive just before Xmas.
Have the same set up and love it! But the A1ii will be a great addition for you I’m sure 😄

Beautiful images 😊
Thanks very much!
All very nice, great photos. How do you use the camera, with priority setting? And auto ISO? You are fantastic
@@marco.74 thanks very much! I shoot manual+ auto iso. So I have control over shutter speed and aperture 👍
Beautiful video and photos … we got India booked with you 2026 🎉… can’t wait !!!😎
@@alisonandguywildlifephotograph thanks so much Alison! Very much looking forward to hosting you in India 😄🤗
Wonderful pictures. Whilst the Sony gave beautiful results, any camera would do well with those kinds of sightings. Kings Camp is just so good 👌❤
@@smurgy99 thanks! And agree, the sightings make a massive difference, but it’s all a combination!

I think with uncompressed raw a you can get up to 7fps or so. I usually shoot compressed L and get 10 fps with that 👍

NO internal raw codecs in 2024 is so disappointing and to charge $6.5K for it, is an absolute crime.

@@scb2scb2… yes, stupid post.
Look, that is not going to be important until Sony includes it and then its 1000% all about that. That's the Sony user mentality.
