Yes, the season after Bird had double achilles surgery, his numbers were incredible: 24.3 points per game, 9.5 rebounds, and 7.5 assists. I think Bird said that Cooper played the best defense on him, but told the rookie Kemp that it was the best defensive effort he got from anyone. Probably to make him feel a little better after he trashed talked him all game while lighting him up at the same time. LOL.

Both way in the past but I still love both those guys. I was/am a huge Sonics fan an was fortunate enough to see Kemp play in the building many times, that dude was awesome in his day. Truly one of the best power forwards during the mid nineties while with Seattle, he was neck an neck with Barkley an Malone during that time. In fact I think he might have been more popular, he started a few all star games if memory serves. You got the start if you got more fan votes, I don't know if they still do it that way. Bird of course is legend, he deserves it an real fans know why. Kemp isn't remembered much now days but he maybe should be, he is the most exciting dunker I ever saw. Every single home game he'd make that building explode with cheers from some crazy dunk he'd do. I think it was Isaiah Thomas that said "Kemp would dunk like he hated the rim, like he was very angry". He said something like that anyway an he was right, Kemp dunked as hard as he could whenever he could an it was beautiful. He could also hit a 20ft jumper, rebound, and play tough defense. He was tough, an one of the very best from his time. I still can't believe they let the Sonics leave here, it's been a long time but still feels recent.

The insertion of music into videos betrays something that is a little depressing, in that the makers of videos are so insecure in their product, that they think putting music in it will improve it. And they do it because everybody else is doing it. And the viewers are all muting the noise. That should be a hint that you are doing something wrong.
