LOVED Kingdom of the Wicked series!! It is indeed a 3 book series. I do believe "Throne of the Fallen" series is part of the same world. I am also going to give Zodiac Academy a go. I got the first 2 books on Audible with their sale. And I have the first two books of This Woven Kingdom.
Ooooh I also really want to get to Kingdom of the Wicked and This Woven Kingdom, fingers crossed we both love them!! And I am ready for the Zodiac Academy fomo to kick in when you inevitably fall head over heels in love lololol. Happy reading!! 🥰
I had to pick a month in 2024 and I wouldn’t let myself read anything else at all until I binged through Throne of Glass. I knew if I ever looked at anything else then I would abandon ToG and never go back. Unpopular opinion: I adored Tower of Dawn and do not get the hype of KoA. If you ever decide to attempt it again, with the tandem read I used audio for ToD and physically read EoS and I actually enjoyed the experience that way and it wasn’t so daunting. I’m happy to say I’ve read it but I’m the odd one out, I fell in love with Crescent City so I gave the other series second chances. CC is still my all time favorite. If you can get through the first 200 pages of book one then you’re solid. Book three reads stupid fast too. And I don’t read fast or slow but I blew through it and saw other people saying the same.
I love that you’re in your YA era right now. I hope you love all the books! You got some good ones in this stack. I hope House of Earth and Blood is better for you this time around.
The Crescent City series is my favorite SJM series! Also the This Woven Kingdom series, and the Kingdom of the Wicked series are both series I’d like to read in 2025, along with the Ember in the Ashes series. 🛋️
You need to finish the good girls guide to murder series. The series is amazing and one of my favorite series ever! One of my top five series! I hope you like them! I also hope you love the this woven kingdom series it is amazing! There are three out now and one more coming next year. I really hope you like it!
You are single handedly increasing my TBR with each video >.< LOL Also I just made a video on Tiktok about the books series I want to read in 2025! Great minds think alike!
I binged all of Elsie Silver's books this year because she was at a book signing in Calgary and I hope you enjoy them! Powerless by Lauren Roberts is one that's on my list to bindge
🛋️ 🛋️ Series I am prioritizing for next year are: the powerless series (read book one and the novella already), Skyward series (read book one already), the naturals series (read book one already), An Ember in the Ashes series, the Rot and Ruin series by Johnathan Maberry, and the Heartless Hunter duology.
I had stopped reading YA while I was still a YA so I've been trying to catch up on the series I missed! Recently I read Shadow and Bone, and going into the next year I'm hoping to read: Six of Crows, An Ember in the Ashes, This Woven Kingdom (I have this one out from the library currently), Serpent and Dove. 🛋
The audiobook for Kingdom of the Wicked is great, very atmospheric. I'd like to read Ember in the Ashes, because I've been putting it off for quite some time, and I think I'm gonna love it. I've tried Shatter Me several times but dnfed it at the beginning every time, so I'd like to try it again but this time in English, because I think the problem was the translation. And I also want to read Zodiac Academy finally and there's great chance I'll enjoy it. And I want to give the Crave series another chance because I liked it the first time (the first book that is), but not that much, but now I'm reading it in English and I like it a lot LOT better and it's fun tbh, really fun😊
So excited for your Zodiac Academy journey!! I read books 1-7 and loved them. I still need to read books 8 and 9 so I am thinking about rereading the series and including the Ruthless Boys into that since I have not read that series yet. One series I plan on reading for the first time in 2025 is The Outlander series.
well gosh. I think next year my main reading is going to be all the why-choose romantasy books you've mentioned. and I also want to finish Zodiac Academy. I've read book 6, and stopped for some reason and every month I think about reading book 7 and yet here we are... ps. romantasies or romantasys?
I also have to finish A good Girl’s Guide to Murder, only book 3 to go. I really like the audiobooks (immersion reading because I also want to see the documents). Another series I want to finish is Criminal Intentions on KU (it's kind of a queer version of Criminal minds). And another priority is finishing the poppy war
I really want to read The Tyrant Philosophers by Adrian Tchaikovsky, he live in a city near where i live so i love supporting local. I also want to read good girls guide to murder series.
I have the first 3 in the Zodiac Academy that i want to read and then I will decide if I want to buy the rest of the series. I have the first 2 books in that other 2 series of there's that you were talking about. I want to read the Shatter Me series. I read the first and started the second book in the Eva Chase series that you were talking about, and I actually bought most of the other books, but I believe the last 3. And so many more that I can't think of at the moment. But a lot of them are why choose romances.
Cassidy entering her contemporary romance is not on my bingo board... but stranger things have happened. Not a lot of stranger things, but maybe one or two in the history of ever... 😂
I am not sure if I am in the BookTok spectrum because I seldom lurk in BookTok. Regardless, if it is beloved, I tend to strongly dislike it. For example: Song Of Achilles, Invisible Life Pf Addie LaRue. 🛋

🛋 loved this!! i definitely want to try some more YA fantasy this year as well!
You can watch the AGGTM show because from what I know, it’s just based on the first book!
Yes but I prefer to read all three cause then I can talk the set up and stuff as well. Just my preference
You are single handedly increasing my TBR with each video >.< LOL Also I just made a video on Tiktok about the books series I want to read in 2025! Great minds think alike!
i definitely need to finish the crescent city series off next year
I just binged my way through the Chestnut Springs series and while I loved them all, Heartless was my absolute favorite
I hope I love the tooo!
Most of these series are actually on my list as well.
Oooooh exciting
I binged all of Elsie Silver's books this year because she was at a book signing in Calgary and I hope you enjoy them! Powerless by Lauren Roberts is one that's on my list to bindge
I Hope i like them cause I think they'd be easy to get signed!!

you've got a good list going
@ thansk! Have you read any of them?
I had stopped reading YA while I was still a YA so I've been trying to catch up on the series I missed! I dnfed This Woven Kingdom pretty early on but all the recent screaming about it has convinced me to give it another try.
Oh I didn't know you dnf'd. Maybe a buddy read

Kingdom of the wicked, mistborn, and maybe magnolia parks!
🛋️ I have a lot of series I want to start next year. But a few would be City of Gods and Monsters, Spark of the Everflame, and Senlin Ascends.
I have read This Woven Kingdom and I really enjoyed it. I just haven't gotten to the next two books yet. Hope to remedy that in 2025 as well. ^_^

HAHAHAH truly tho
The Crescent City series has a really good graphic audio which should help you get through it. I did my reread of the series with the graphic audios.
Personally not a fan of graphic audios! But thank you
