Wow that was truly an amazing episode. You guys rock! I very much appreciate your efforts to bring the lore and story of Guild Wars to the masses. Thank you for everything you do
~1:23:33 I will usually adjust my builds and tactics to account for enemy nature rituals, but there are some with enough use to bring myself: Frozen Soil - Counters mobs with lots of rez Nature's Renewal - Extremely useful vs. Necromancer, Mesmer & Elementalist hexes Toxicity - Buffs poison and disease Winter - Can negate/nerf some Fire Magic skills
@@tyrianow8008 Frozen Soil - Think the undead in the Desolation Nature's Ritual - Think Water Elementalists, Jotun Winter - Think Mark of Rodgort, Destroyers
In case you two are interested, on another playthrough I'm watching, I'm proposing revised available henchmen for entertainment and discussion. So far, my Warriors: Ascalon, Levels 3-6 (5 Skills) Stefan (Sword/Damage) Balanced Stance, Thrill of Victory, Galrath Slash, Healing Signet, Rez Signet Notes: Considered replacing Balanced Stance due to low duration to recharge, but it's still helpful in this area. Replaced the energy intensive Power Attack with adrenaline fueled Galrath Slash to better synergize with Thrill of Victory. Will keep self-heals and Rez Signets on all henchmen until at least mid-game. With a single Warrior option, decided to avoid condition inflicting skills. N. Shiverpeaks, N. Kryta, Levels 8-12 (6 Skills) Stefan (Sword/Damage/Support) Balanced Stance, Thrill of Victory, Galrath Slash, "Watch Yourself!", Healing Signet, Rez Signet Notes: Only added 'Watch Yourself!' to add armor buff support that better leverages Thrill of Victory. Little Thom (Axe/Damage/Deep Wound/Weakness) Rush, Cyclone Axe, Dismember, Axe Twist, Healing Signet, Rez Signet Notes: Replaced energy-based Sprint with adrenaline-based Rush to fee energy for spamming Cyclone Axe, which will return more adrenaline if it hits aoe. Dismember and Axe Twist are lower adrenaline cost spike attacks that inflict generally useful conditions that work against non-fleshy as well. M. Jungle, Levels 15-17 (7 Skills) Stefan (Sword/Damage/Support) Balanced Stance, Griffon's Sweep, Thrill of Victory, Galrath Slash, "Watch Yourself!", Healing Signet, Rez Signet Notes: Added another energy general use attack skill with conditional knock-down. Little Thom (Axe/Damage/Deep Wound/Weakness) Rush, Cyclone Axe, Dismember, Axe Twist, "To the Limit!!", Healing Signet, Rez Signet Notes: Added shout to quickly fuel adrenaline and help healing support.
@@tyrianow8008 Again, I know and respect that this is a lore based playthrough, but I don't mind copy/pasting my proposed henchmen project under your vids as well. Subject to revision as I go along, my guidelines: a) Only 3 lines used (max) and no secondary profession skills. b) Number of skills in build limited per current game. c) No elite until lvl 20. d) All core and Proph skills available notwithstanding availability to player. e) Will assume logical attribute pt allocation. f) No requirement to "rollover" any of the same skills to the next lvl range. g) While I will look at my earlier related series, this is a fresh more holistic review. h) Some level changes overlap with area transitions. Will revise to more hard breaks. i) "Special" outposts may be handled differently.
You guys are amazing and awesome. Its always nice to have a call backs of what a lot players may have went through in Guild Wars. Along with any new folks who don't know the lore or how Guild Wars is compared to Guild Wars 2.
This is the Teatime legal department. We are issuing a cease and desist. Did you even try to get consent? This is a farce of a podcast. Obviously a quick cash out on the poor lost souls that still cling desperately to thier self worth tied intrinsically to this shell of a game. While you pander one of the worst writen stories since the Star Wars prequels. I know you feel like the big fish in the gw1 pond. But "there is always a bigger fish." -Qui Gon Jinn The Phantom Menace

These would definitely be more useful due to their situational skillsets!

It makes us wish we could play it blind again!
Thanks for another good one!
