In this episode - CANTHA!
I always play standard melee on my Assassin main and don't use Deadly Arts much, but there are a number of ranged skills in the line. Could be interesting running with a bow.
Great suggestion!
Since it came with a new computer, Factions is the first campaign I played and holds the most nostalgia. The Echovald Forest is my favorite region in the entire game, and The Jade Sea is among my favorites. Nevertheless, the timed missions (for bonus benefits) are counter to my playstyle.
I can accept unlimited arrows easier than endless spears.
Cantha is so lovely!
@@tyrianow8008 For another playthrough, I've been reviewing the henchmen for Factions. It's clear that that the designer's decided to offer more options than Proph. They did mess up the logic on how the sub-groups split and become unavailable, replaced, etc.. They also could have done a better job with the builds, etc.
@@tyrianow8008 Also... The City is missed opportunities. The Palace areas are different, but they could have made other areas more distinctive. The rooftops could have had an environmental effect of wind gusts that affects speed boosts and ranged attacks. The sewers could have had poison/disease environmental hazards.
@@tarheel7406 They dabbled with environment effects in GW1 with meteors and the like, but never fully committed!
@@tyrianow8008 The Forest has Stone Spores and the Sea has Spiked Coral, but I doubt the effects are strong or common enough to ever have much impact.
I love Cantha, but i always wondered where all the farms for the Kaineng City are. Also, will you be taking different routes for Luxon and Kurzicks?
We believe the idea is that Shing Jea island supplies a large portion of both food and water for Kaineng City proper.
We will be splitting up for Kurzick and Luxon paths!
@tyrianow8008 looking forward to seeing your paths diverge
