Where can I start with the probes and in what setting to try to find a short on a PS5 motherboard? it was working good then I replaced the liquid metal which I regret and now it turns on for 2 seconds and then turns right off. so I think I might have bridged something with liquid metal ball. I looked everywhere and cleaned it like 10 times but its still turning on and turning off . can I narrow the problem area and or faulty component down with just continuity mode using ground and the capacitors? Also is it usually just one component on the board that is causing the issue? or can it be multiple things at the same time? Cheers if you could reply I would like to give it a shot before I take it to my buddy at the repair shop.

hello, i have a ps4 pro that have short caps around hdmi and encoder chip, but also i have a blue light of dead, can the encoder cause a blod?

Im troubleshooting this same thing right now. If i have the HDMI port off the board, all the IC and filter testing is still apllicable right? The HDMI doesnt have to be on the board at the time of testing and this will still give honest results. Thanks!
