Always amazing to me that they do all their own choreo and it is always original.
They have such a variety of moves and styles in their choreo, I'm starting to think it must be hard to remember it all, similar to how Band-Maid songs never repeat and must be difficult to remember how to play.
I get to see them in 7 days in St. Paul!
I would probably need shoulder surgery just trying those windmill moves. It's always fun to watch them dance. 😀
That combination of gonzo instrumental break/guitar solo and manic choreo is one of the most joyous things I've ever seen. Love it.
No matter how to classify them-I simply think they're very very good at what they do.
This video is underground parking for the building that the Giri Giri choreography video was filmed at. It is a TV Station, and as Atarashii Gakko is want to do, they just decided to film some videos while people were actually working in the background, cause who doesn't want a somewhat impromptu performance in the middle of their work day? These girls are awesome!
So much fun! Wish I'd found them sooner and got to see them live on their Seishun tour... Next time!
When I watched your reaction to "Tokyo Calling, I was not into it at first. I'm like ...."what am I watching here"...Godzilla meets 4 school Girls attacking Tokyo? LOL and why is Ryan liking it so much. BUT, after watching this one ...it drags you in. They are really good dancers. The Choreography is amazing and synced....and their energy is infectious. They seem to be having a great time doing it
I mean I still probably wouldn't pop it in the CD player first choice...., but there is something about it LOL I'm liking more and more Japanese Bands LOL Do we know anything about the Band playing behind them?
They work with a multitude of musicians from H. Zettrio to Money Mark. There's no set band they work/play with. They mainly perform live to tracks (music) while singing and dancing. Their songs range from very jazz oriented rock, to straight up hip hop, and everything in between. They have a very eclectic style.
I feel like the group is best enjoyed both visually and audibly. If you only listen to them, they're still good. But seeing and listening really brings the whole performance to another level.
I think they are shooting this in the basement garage of TV Asahi, a national TV station, since I see a vehicle with the station name on it. Seems like they have a regular TV show (or a segment of a show) now, as shown at the bottom of the screen, though I've never watched it.
TV Asahi Music is one of their four talent management agencies. It's probably pretty easy for them to film there.
The Giri Giri choreo video is filmed in a similar style with random office stuff going on in the background. I wonder if it's the same location.
@@iaingeo You've got it. The Giri Giri Choreography video is at the TV Asahi building as well. The people in the background really are staff there, probably actually working.
I noticed Suzuka has shaved off her eyebrows. I guess she's more aerodynamic now?
