Did you chop the Michelle before the root rot? I'm having the same issue after propagating it. The roots rotted on the plant and on ALL the cuttings. Both were under different conditions and I don't have that issue with any other anthurium. Right before the propagation it was rooting aggressively and pushed a leaf twice the size of the last one, I don't think there was any issue with the growing conditions.
I did not chop! I went back in and had to essentially cut all the roots off except ONE thick top one which was the last one that was healthy and popped her in sphagnum/perlite and she put out a new (tiny) leaf the very next week! She’s working on her second little leaf now and I still can’t see roots but it seems hopeful 🥹
