Only a few years ago, the world was terrified of touching anything that could have been touched by someone else. Now they are swapping germs etc each time they touch the horses. Why the hell can't they just leave the horses alone when posing for a photo?
You’re so right, in one video I saw a woman even kiss the horse,
I also saw one video where an older gentleman dug into his pockets and take out some candy and fed the horse! Guard told him it was ok. What if the horse was allergic or the gentleman could have something on his hands and pass that on to the horse.

He had a look on his face like he was obsessed with the horse. 🤪
I feel so sorry for the rider and especially the horse. Imagine having to stand there for an hour while total strangers pawed on you and grabbed at your reins.
Yes! And what is not understood by the rude tourists is that the highly trained horses and guards are not there for their entertainment. They have a professional job to do!

The Royal Artillery horses are a beautiful colour, very striking.
If you watch again, you'll see that at least one of those Officers is checking on her - she's not committing any Offence so they don't need to intervene. It's also possible that she's "known" for doing this at "Royal" premises. There are people out there who will deliberately do stuff to get a reaction, which they then film to put on social media, suitably edited, of course.
She should of been moved away from horse guards acted very suspicious and in this day & age can't take any chances
The police officers were definitely watching her but, they are also aware that people from that region spook very easily by police & are trained how to handle those situations.
Although, in this day & age of terrorism, she very easily could have had an IED in her bag. Thank God 🙏 the situation didn’t turn into anything.
I agree. I always watch certain people. These people often go to tourist spots to look sad and forlorn. Then ask for money. It's an act to prey on tourists' kindness.

The woman is not what I would worry about. Take a good look at the young man with the hoodie and sweats that leans up against the fence next to the officers. From the time he showed up he keeps eyeballing the officers gun.

It looked like the lady in purple standing by the Officers was terrified of something or someone. I can’t be sure though. Then the way She took off at a fast pace, it was almost like the situation changed and she took off abruptly, as though she was trying to get way from who ever it was. Very strange. I was surprised that not one person checked on her, even though she was standing by the Police Officers. Whatever her situation was, I hope she is safe.
In today’s society, know one enough, or don’t want to step on anyones toes! I would want someone to ask me if everything’s okay! Obviously there is a problem there!

She's very thin and holding on to the bars as if she's sick or weak. Perhaps she's hungry or has been abandoned. Perhaps she is a foreigner. Someone should call a social services care worker.

We dont know her situation but she did look vary suspicious weather she was ill or mental issues Horse Guards is no place for her especially with the Military security and i think the police were informing them on their radio. I do hope someone helped that poor woman , she appeared distressed possibly ill. Maybe she was standing by the officers hoping to be asked if she was alright , not able to ask herself .Not one person was kind enough to ask if she needed help , what have we become ?

Looking at it realistically, she could have blown herself and everyone nearby up. You just can't afford to take chances, I thought that's what the police were there for.
So how would ignoring her have been of any help. "let's just move the dangerous woman to a different spot" Seriously If that was a real fear, they would have been on to her straight away. She needed help and was completely ignored.

I was concerned about her in another post. She is acting very strange, she looks scared or ill. Some were concerned she could be a security issue. I sure she’s just lost for real or mentally. She might be frightened to ask the Police. Maybe a language barrier or experience from her own country of the Police. I can’t believe they haven’t attempted to ask her, she looks so desolate.
I was little thinking the same, that she has had draumatic experience from her own country police, perhaps even sexual assault..abuse, seen police doing horrible doings and still living in fear when seeing police officer. But you can see how the police officers were following her. or then she is having serious mental/health problems and would need help. What was wrong with that odd looking woman? She looked sick. You think she was starving to death? Do you think she was going to do something that was illegal? Was she standing there sick cuz she was having a baby? Something extremely odd was happening to her. Look at her and watch her closely the guards and police are even watching her.
Honestly I'm the kind of person that would have approached her to ask if she could give me directions of something innocuous just to see her reaction. Is she waiting for someone? waiting for instructions via ear piece? Is she staying in a public place to avoid someone who has threatened her? No telling but you don't get a feel for something going on unless you ask. And the police would most certainly frighten her.

I think that lady hanging round the guards was up to something very suspicious and her bag had something heavy in it you could tell when she pulled it back on her arm. I seen her in another Viedo standing in front of chipsman they were having guard change and she just stood there officers had to tell her to move. It seemed odd there was a group start talking to officers almost as to distract them as shw moved bhind them. I guess i watched to many detective movies

If you watch her carefully, there are a few times she's looking around at people but if they look at her she lowers her eyes. I really hope she's okay, she gives me the feeling that she's scared and lost and afraid to ask for help.

You are right. I would have been very interested in the contents of that bag,since her behavior was very strange. In the old days she would have been a "Stop & Frisk" but where I live that is not allowed anymore. ( retired Sgt & SWAT decoy)
I felt like I was about to witness a bombing with my own front seat. Why didn’t they search that big purse she had right away. She probably was a decoy or some criminal activity. She was loitering and looked like a stone statue. She could have taken many lives.😢

She looked like she wanted to be spoken too, wanted to say something. She looked troubled, she was bringing herself to attention. Those officers should have checked for her own safety and well being. She could have been having a mental episode or maybe up to no good.

I can`t believe those police officers are so lackadaisical about who is around them. Had that "strange" woman with the yellow headscarf had a Bomb in her Bag the lot of them would have gone up within ten seconds of her hanging around that gate. It's unreal they don`t even ask to look inside bags that could be hiding a bomb, why they even allow people within 20 yards of the gate let alone allow them to freely enter the premises is asking for trouble. Yet it seems we indeed tempt fate in this country, & we must be the Terrorist dream as to how open we are to attack.

On weird film, that woman was wearing a winter coat all closed up, acting strange, then that woman does her weird act at the gates until that blonde guy comes along and she moves off fast...then in same film everyones wearing tee shirts etc...was this two different films made into one? If it was one continuous , then the guards ought to have had someone following her around. It was definitely weird but it also called for someone to ask her if she was ok when she stood there gripping the bars. Two stayed near her but no filming was made of them approaching her asking if she was ok. Suspicious to me....oh well

Maybe she was looking for a sense of protection from the officers. Their job is to protect the guards. I think they were acutely aware of her, notice when she left they split up. Dealt with appropriately.

I saw the poor lady standing there .as so many on her said they couldn’t believe the police didn’t question her to see if she was ok .Both stood there watching her.Than all of sudden she walked off very quickly which I found weird .
Perhaps the police know her, and could get into trouble if they do speak to her. She looked like she knew where she was going when she walked off. A local I expect.

The police are't ignoring her, they've got their eyes on her and she hasn't done anything to warrant an approach from them.
She could have easily been a suicide bomber for all the NOT checking the police did. When she walked away, she walked away purposefully, not like she was lost or scared. Very odd.

She was asked if she was okay, she looked up briefly at him but she wouldn't answer. Help for her was there if she needed it and she knew it but decided to move and not ask for Since she would not ask for help they just monitored her. If that were to hqppen in the US, an adult who refuses aid cannot be forced to accept help. As she had no obvious wounds and could ambulate on her own she could go as she wished. I'm gonna check some areas to see if anyone knows or learned of anything else. I learned though the police there are the ones to respond to such occurances, not the guard. You can see the police in the vid are keeping an eye on her.

I’m really really surprised and upset that nobody went up to her and asked her if she was ok and/or needed help…I would have done that straight away as soon as I saw her leaning against the wall,gate with her eyes closed , she was obviously unwell …🥺🥺

She looked perfectly fine when she walked away. You will also learn that many of these people prey on your kindness. If you travel often, you will see this. Then they ask tourists for money.

@@Ottosparty17. No not there for a chat. On duty, talking about the woman, talking into their walkie talkies getting background history on suspected bombers. Doing their job. She doesn’t look ill walking away. The terror alert in London is high.
I suspect that is what she was hoping for, but got fed up when it wasn't working and she was ignored. I used to help feed the homeless in London Soho area with the food for life night van and unfortunately this is often a ploy to get tourists etc to stop and ask her if she is ok and then she will tell a sob story and want money. I know plenty of people that did that and would then go buy drugs with it when they have homeless and hungry signs up or they have a pet. Only ever offer food to help like a coffee and sandwich and dog food. If you buy them groceries they will often exchange them for drugs, such as meat and more expensive items. I've seen a young lad get tins and loads of nestle coffee and exchange it for a bag of heroin because apparently his dealer wanted nestle instant cappucino🤦🏼♀️! However she is probably known to police, hence why they just observed. However I would still be wary because you never know. I got terrified one night when this guy who was normally fine when I served him hot food just suddenly lunged at me for no real reason that I could make out, it really freaked me out. Hence why police have tasers. Also the mental health facilities are overrun and underfunded and the system is overloaded throughout the country. Covid seemed to make many people go over the edge, especially poorer people stuck in not able to leave a tiny bedsit or flat. The shelters also aren't very safe that's why many younger homeless who often have run away from home or actually foster care sleep near doorways or places with CCTV so they feel safer. Sad situation. Sunak is twice as rich as the King he could perhaps do something instead of buying another house, plane or whatever Tribunemag did a very damning report on him in 2022. The Royal family however actually do things to help the country.

I've been trying to find out about these guards in this particular uniform but can't find any information. Why are the uniforms so different for the normal ones?
They are the King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery. They fire the gun salutes on special occasions & do this sentry duty when the Household Cavalry are away for their holidays or taking part in other events. Hope that helps.

There needs to be several signs in multiple languages on either side of the arches, saying do not stand closer than 1 foot to the Horse and do not touch the Horse. You can take a photo near the Horse without being closer than 1 foot.

Hmm 🤔.. at ~8:27-35 into video, am wondering what the young lady w/dark hair pulled back into a ponytail & dressed up in off-white long sleeved blouse w/matching shoulder hanging purse & black dress pants, GAVE the horse?
As she did grab something from inside her purse while waiting her turn. Once at the horse, she held something in her fingers right up to the horse’s Rt nostril, then held her hand, palm up, very close to the horse’s mouth. Looked like poss. a sugar cube, but the horse seemed to not like it after ~10-20secs, as she was leaving the video scene.
She came up to the horse as a young lady w/light brown hair pulled back into a ponytail, wearing jean jacket w/a big white shopping bag hanging from her Rt shoulder, was finishing personal g the horse.
*Need an additional signs saying: Warning! Do Not Touch Horse Reins & Kit, Nor Guard (and) Do Not Feed The Horses!
**Aww+😂 to the whingin’ male tourist who seems to have been bitten by one of the horses or got too close to a Guard’s sword. Oh well, tourists are made aware the horses may bite and tourists do have to “Make Way”= Get Out of The Way! of a marching Guard w/Their Sword Held High & Upfront. Get the HINTS? .. IDJIT!
