Thank you. My dad didn't finish that night. He continued the following day. He didn't work on it continuously. It really depends. Just give yourself 1-2 days if it's just you. It probably took him around 5 hours if I would estimate.

The pergola is very nice. It doesn’t seem difficult to put together. But does require more than one person. I like the woman with the Jean jacket’s hair. It’s very lovely. So will you be switching out the patio set beneath it? Your yard is so spacious. Thank you for sharing Lynley.
Thank you! It took a long time lol. It looks simple but there are so many screws and little parts. That's my mom! We'll have the third setup for now. Maybe get another swing later on that will match the pergola's color more.

Do you find it to be sturdy and solid. Did you weigh it down with anything?
Yes, sturdy and solid. We didn't use the shades that came with it. My dad just added outdoor roller shades.
Is there a specific water proof top that is recommended?
One that specifically stretches out to the open sides as well. (The sides that do not have the stock curtains that come with the pergola)
I am wondering about that, too! I haven't found one yet.

How do you get those longish allen screws in without dropping then down the post?
Verrrry carefully lol put this together yesterday and had to take the feet off one of the posts to fish out the screw I dropped multiple times lol
Does the rain go through the canopy ? would i get wet if i sit under it while raining
