- Genshin Impact 5.3 Gameplay of the Lantern Rite 2025 Event Full Walkthrough on PS5 Pro with No Commentary
This event is called Springtime charms and introduces many of the old characters from Liyue. Issue is due to the VA strike, a majority of these characters do not have English voices. So I have decided to cover this event with Japanese voices. Enjoy!

*This event has no english voices for a majority of the characters. So I will be playing it in Japanese voices. If this continues I might just have to play the game with Japanese voices till this bs va strike is over.*
On another note. Not really sure if I want to cover each day here, as this event comes out for people in HK and Asia regions first. Meaning I will always be a late by more than half a day. I might just compile all the days into one big full video instead. I'll see how the viewership is before deciding that. Other than that enjoy!

I heard that they got a new va studio now for English so now it’s just getting everything taken care of so hopefully next update will be voice
the va strike is over for genshin. hoyo started moving them over to a new studio only a couple weeks ago so it's taking some time. bummed it wasn't done before the event but at least it's been resolved

Yeah. They're the only one who have EN voicelines among those who didn't appear in the event's story.
Am I the only one who thinks Chiori sounds...off? Idk, it might be just me

@@Vany It's really sad because this lantern rite story is Abyss related and goes deep into ancient Liyue history I am an EN enjoyer too but I switched to JP just so I can enjoy it.

I don't know why english voice actors are not speaking but npcs are talking like crazy . Npcs are becoming more vocal than main characters 😂😂😂😂
because all of the npc lines were either recorded before the strike or they are not part of the union and thus can be voice acted.
@shadowfox9801 yes I am sad. I liked the genshin impact Interaction so much . But now main quest do not have such Interaction due to fucking strike.

it's not their fault. the previous va studio wanted to replace them with ai voices, so the va went on a strike, and hoyo willfully changed studios to the same one as wuwa. now theyre slowly coming back. but yh it's taking much longer than expected

@smark4036 i learned tamil first. Then English when I started school. Learned a bit of French in high school. So that's about it.
@@Rubhen925 Oh cool we have the same first language. I'm just salty that more and more people are being forced to turn off Eng to listen to jp. They'll keep using jp after the strike is over. And in the future, due to low users, the Eng quality will go down.
The quality of anime Eng dubs is garbage because of low users. And the users will keep switching to jp as long as the dub is bad. This might happen to genshin because of the strike.
And I don't wanna listen to jp outside of songs.
@@smark4036 regardless of the quality in my channel i will always focus on english voices as that has become my primary langauge now. Issue is this event has a ton of characters with no voices so I'm using japanese voices for this event. Im just hopin this will be fixed for the future.
