Hey Mr Go Harley fella I'm curious as to why you wouldn't sent them out for a valve job upgrade with new valves and guides seeing as you have them apart ? Unless this is a DIY ultra low budget build ?
Did you add the valve guide seals without replacing the guides? Did the seals come stock on your bike? I'm planning my head rebuild now on my 71' XLCH.
Nice vid! That was actually kinda soothing lol. At the same point with my rebuild. Can I borrow your sandblaster? Had one at my old job. I made my spring compression tool similar to yours. Take care mate.
Nice. Love Ironhead tech videos. Mine is patiently waiting for some rebuild love.
Awesome!

Are the valve collars cut for valve oil seals or stock ?
hi Harold, this is all stock I use there, no cutting. cheers
Thanks
Very nice. What did you put on the valve seals before installing them? Thanks.

hi, it is indeed DIY project with no need to upgrade valves. cheers
The guides are not hard to swap, no need to send that out with the skills he clearly has
