I was born in 1952 and was pretty well into t v viewing when some of these programs were out . but the problem was that the geography of the united states is so varied . every broadcast range was inherent on the type of topography such as mountains and desert . syndication was still in its infancy so there were some that were shown nationally , but not all .

It was a half-hour drama anthology show of repeat episodes originally aired on other drama anthology series that included a couple of unsold pilots as well. It was the norm in the latter half of the 50s to have such repackaged series under a new title, often used as mid-season and summer fillers. Turning Point aired on NBC through the spring and summer of 1958 on Saturdays at 9:30 pm, having replaced The Gisele MacKenzie Show.
YES. "THE GISELE MacKENZIE SHOW" lasted 26 weeks....it didn't draw enough viewers as "HAVE GUN-WILL TRAVEL" did on CBS, so Schick {and the "alternate sponsor", Scott Paper Company} cut their losses, and scheduled a "package" of anthology repeats and two unsold pilots.......

Niven was a partner, with Dick Powell and Charles Boyer, in Four Star Television.
