Nikmatul Rosidah Dobson is one of Hong Kong’s most popular TH-camrs. But instead of videos produced in the city’s official languages, English or Cantonese, the shy housewife’s clips use the Bahasa spoken in her native Indonesia. Rosidah now has more than 1.4 million subscribers to a TH-cam channel started as a hobby before it grew into a collection of more than 1,400 videos of her everyday activities. People across Southeast Asia and around the world tune in to see her at work in her home in a village in Hong Kong’s New Territories, as she cooks meals and raises her three children with Canadian husband Paul Dobson.

One of her daughters actually go to my sisters school and they are friends. Her family and ours went to Disneyland together. They were also really nice to us.

She use laptop just for upload her videos, i think she can't use apps for editing videos on laptop, and editing on mobile isn't that hard
She edits on her mobile but uses the computer for the ads. Mostly on her phone. No fancy equipment!
Cool story, it's about time Indonesian cooking got more recognition. There are so many amazing home cooks in Indonesia and they could follw her example.
You are right but the thing is most of them don't speak English, only a few have subtitle in English
@@elysiayasri8516 non-English speakers could easily understanding recipes, ingredients thru videos without english subtitle. Especially for those cooklovers and moms. She is so details in the demo.
There are many Indonesian cooking channels on YT, they garnered millions in views and subscribes.
The problem is that VERY VEW OF THEM USE ENGLISH.

Rosidah is a super mom, she redefined what are a housewife capable of. She cooks everyday for her family, cleaning the house and still manage to do filming and edited it then uploaded it to TH-cam, it is not an easy task at all but she made it looks easy. What a Woman, her kids Daniel, Sasa and Carissa also Her Husband Paul should be proud of her. 👍👍👍👍💪💪💪
I met her by chance and she is very humble as a person , what a lucky day for me to meet her on the road,, along with her husband and her youngest daughter , they're such a lovely family.

By watching this short video, I adore her and somehow I really like her voice, so soothing and kudos to speak English well. Look how she explains it in detail that she gave her mother iPad to help us understand what her husband told us previously. I do like her accent too. People with accents are the cutest, showing their ability to learn and speak other languages. ❤️❤️❤️

I've been followed her channel for years, what unique about her channel are her cooking not made for youtube purpose to gain subscriber but to share her daily life as a busy housewife, daily meals, baked,. Traditional Cakes that she served for the family at hone..and editing video only by her phone...👍
