I met Dave Sheridan (Doofy/The Killer) at a comic con and he’s the nicest coolest guy ever. He was in character part of the time but when he saw that we knew him from a couple other movies he did he got so excited and chatted with us about them. A true all star!

A BTS video showed Sean explaining the writing process. He said they rewrote the movie multiple times because Keenan is such a tough critic. The first 10 mins of Scary Movie II is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Not a spoiler - They spoof the Exorcist in the beginning, so expect lots of references to that movie. I get it. As much as I love the channel and Jay's reactions, this movie is just too stupid and offensive to tolerate. And when I say offensive I don't mean in a woke, non politically correct kind of way. I mean it's toilet humor at it's finest and therefore not entertaining for anyone with more than 2 brain cells to rub together. I'm not a snob that's incapable of enjoying slapstick, 3 stooges style comedy. There are a few movies from the genre that have made me laugh and I'd deem worthy of watching (Dumb and Dumber, Talledega Nights, National Lampoon's Vacation and Christmas Vacation). But I've gotta pass on the entire Scary Movie series cause IMHO it's pure trash. Still love Jay though and his reaction to this movie was 1000x better than the movie itself. Jay never fails to make me laugh, whether I like the movie or not.

This was one of the movies they wanted to see, so we got our tickets, went in and sat down. I was ready to leave after 20 minutes, but I didn't say anything. At the 40 minutes mark, my eldest son got up, made a rather rude remark about the movie, and said he was leaving. We all trailed after him, glad that one of us had started the exodus. My eldest son was 14.
