  • Season 13 is off and rumbling with Stacey showing off the new exhaust system for the SR-71 Rapid Tool Express project. From the headers to the tailpipes, this exhaust is going to scream! After than its chassis details as Stacey lays out a plan for pedals, brakes and a fuel tank. Of course, You can’t have an SR-71 inspired build without some killer wheels and wait ‘til you see what Stacey and our good friends at Neely Precision come up with. It’s all good, and it’s all here on GearZ.

Oh man thanks for the season upload. Been working quite a lot on my 1968 Cougar This summer & always use the Interceptor for inspiration!! I would love to see it in action some day. Wonder what it could do in the 1/4? Or even on a track like Laguna Seca with all those suspension upgrades. That is the most well built 67-73 Cat I know of. Well done Stacey!

That black bird plane is sitting in Atwater CA. It is part of many other planes in display at the Castle airport museum

That bird could be anywhere in the world and if it lost power, it could glide down the Vandenberg SFB. CA.

You need a very large fuel tank

I know where one of these panel trucks are sitting at and it's a 59 too. Sadly the guy does not want to sell it as it's been sitting outside for 8 years with rust going through the primer. Want one of these something fierce to go with my standard 59 Custom Cab.

That brake line that close to the exhaust is scary unless you are shielding it from the exhaust heat.

its rated for that it's braided steel. the brake fluid is just as hot under heavy use

Odd as the Blackbird still holds all the records. There is a reason there is no air breathing plane that equals this... and that is because of the cost and because of satellites. It is hard to justify the build, maintenance, and flight costs now that we live in a different era.

Replaced with satellites and drones. Plus since Bill Gates vaccinated everyone I am sure the shadow world govt knows everything people are thinking without needing a cool plane to photograph things.
I have to go, my tinfoil hat is melting.

Filling the fuel tank through the floor of the rear cargo area is the dumbest shit I've ever heard of. This is the kind of thing that makes me dislike these so-called hotrods
