80/20 rule, gas tank, gamify. I already use a bit of gas tank because of your previous vid, but I want to use it in a combo if I can.

The prioritizing grid! I always get stuck with other methods so I'm excited to try something new.
Btw the link to butt in chair isn't working for me 🤷🏻‍♀️

"Push days are morally neutral and being behind is morally neutral." Wow, keeping that one in mind!

I always use the gas tank/context methods. I sort my tasks into my physical abilities... stand up, sit down, and lay down.
Stand up: yard work, errands, deliveries received, dishes, vacuuming, showering, brushing my teeth, etc.
Sit down: admin work, that needs me sitting at the desk, eating, brushing my teeth, sewing, and crafting.
Lay down: phone calls, emails, online shopping to be delivered, and researching projects.
I usually start my day with a stand up job, choosing one that fits my energy level. One day it might be mowing the lawn, the next is brushing my teeth.
Then if I have the mental ability I'll choose a sit down job. One day it could be doing my taxes (high focus) and the next maybe printing new planner sheets. Low focus, because I can print the same format from last month, just change the dates. Or I can have some fun and design a whole new layout (medium focus as I've been doing it for years).
Now, I'm tired but awake, I choose a lay down job. It's easy to order groceries, check bank balance, make phone calls and search the web for how to get a project to completion whilst laying down... giving my body a rest. 💖🌞🌵😷

Saw this posted a few days ago but been in really bad shape for awhile. So glad it's here though and I'm definitely grabbing that cheat sheet because I've been drowning for months now and I really miss the feeling of having my feet under me and at least some confidence I can keep up.

Great prioritization methods. I love the ivy lee method also and use it as a weekly method. I also do a push day every 2nd day as opposed to everyday which has helped my mental health alot.

What do you do about the anxiety around the things that never get done because they are never important enough to do but bug your brain and would be so much better if they are done. Ie gmail, digital clutter, tgings that need to be mended that take a lot of time or energy or something that needs to be bought for that etc.

This is a question that comes up a lot inside my program, The Action Navigator. And the answer varies from person to person. I usually start the coaching process by getting to the root of why these things are causing anxiety in this particular moment, and then address that specifically. Sometimes it's straightforward, and other times this type of anxiety is simply a symptom of something else that may seem unrelated.

I changed my thinking about those items... I take them off my actions list and put them on a "someday maybe" list. Yes, it would be nice to grow fresh tomatoes, but for right now, I need to concentrate on getting a shower more than twice a week and brushing my teeth twice every day. Do I think about garden fresh veg? ... All the time! But I know it's on my someday maybe list and once I get some more important stuff done, I know I'll see it on my list! Sending lots of love 💖 from sunny 🌞 Arizona 🌵. Take care of yourself and each other 😷.
