My van 2014, 2.0, last of old model, trafic has flung up the same code. Would the glow plugs stop the regen for the DPF? Came up glow plugs to start with then flung up P242F code for DPF.
I'm looking to change mine does the shape of the glowplugs matter? It says it's compatible with the engine but look completely different to the ones you used
@@ORileysAutos Thanks I have an intermittent problem. sometimes the glow plugs work and sometimes they dont so thought it could be the relay on the way out as the wires seem intact!

Have you ever encountered the fault code P2A00 o2 sensor in the same engine? , I've been pulling my hair out with this , new sensor etc and a repeated fault within 20 miles ?
Possible causes for this engine code include: A failed O2 sensor Burnt, broken, or disconnected wiring and/or connectors. Engine misfires. Vacuum leaks. Bad mass air flow or manifold absolute pressure sensor. Engine exhaust leaks.
@@ORileysAutos just reset the usual diagnostic system, done a real time data on the new and old sensor and reading good, leaving in this position possible faults elsewhere, I was using launch diagnostic tool , proper one ,👍
@@Salmonleap2023 I would check to see if there are options to tell it that it's had a new sensor. I'm not familiar with launch but my Autel has it special functions. Might be worth doing a smoke test to check for leaks

Good morning. On the 2l the glow plugs have a white ring and the tightening is 18Nm

Just match them with the ones you remove from your vehicle. Different vehicles can vary so no pint comparing this to yours

Can you make video please to just allocate the Ignition coils? i have M9R Engine on Nissan and i cant find where is Ignition Coils
M9R Renault engine is Diesel so it doesn't have ignition coils. Only petrol engines have ignition coils
