It's beautiful. A bowlers life-long dream... ...But, that better be a free-fall pinsetter in the back and not one of those ridiculous string pinsetters. lol UPDATE: After reading additional comments, I realized it IS a string machine! AAAAAAAH!
mottbone although a freefall machine is nice it also requires a mechanic to service the machine. You probably don't want to have a string machine for a league but they say there is only a 3 pin difference in scores.
That's an unusual ball return track, isn't it? I guess it minimizes stuck balls at the base of the lift. And, strings, oh well... definitely low maintenance though.
If I went everyday to my bowling alley it would cost $130,000 over 20 years, 10 games a day. So least expensive route is going to an alley, this is an amazing status symbol and a very well put together alley you guys did amazing
For a new lane it can be anywhere from 50 to 80 thousand depending on how many bells and whistles you get. Such as the type of machine and the scoring system. It takes roughly 2 weeks to build.
What is the difference between the bottom planks of the subfloor being forward and back, or side to side? I've seen the smaller installations have them going forward and back, but the bigger installations are put in side to side first. Does it depend on the company or something?
It really has to do with where and how the ball comes back and how high the ceiling is. For example this one lane has a Partial trench ball return. We put the sleepers the long way to save on height.
If I wanted manual scoring, a Brunswick A-2 (Can repair myself, certified Brunswick Pinsetter tech), and Anvilane synthetics, whats the average cost for something like that?
What's the price now two years later and what's the deal if I want two lanes mean one Lanes kind of stupid you got to have to how can you do your PBA roloffs
If I ever get to the point where I could afford my own bowling alley it would be an Brunswick A-2 running at A speed for with a Jetback ball kicker instead of the A-2 ball kicker, simpler. I used to work as a mechanic for Brunswick so maintenance isn't an issue unlike most customers. Just curious what part of the country are you in? Thanks for the video and the answer. Jim
Gold Crown Anyone with DIY mechanical skills can maintain a Brunswick A machine, simply buy a Brunswick maintenance manual. It tell you what to do for every single problem it has ever had. Then you have to add between 5 to 10,000 worth of parts if you want to keep bowling instead of waiting for the part you need to arrive. But calling an experienced mechanic is a whole lot easier as when he leaves the machine will be running after he does a 51-20 inspection and then repairs/ replaces what the inspection showed it needed. By doing that when you turn the machine on all you should hear is the whine of the motor. If I ever do hit the lottery I will be calling you for the installation of two lanes in a new house to make it easier with 6 feet behind the ball wheel.
I agree, Real wood lanes and the Brunswick A-2 would be my dream, actually one of my life long dreams is to own and completely run a Bowling alley, 6 lanes is fine with me.
It's not a status symbol if you don't let people know about it. And yup you can get a lot games at you're local bowling alley and you get the free zoo vibe and disgusting Restrooms, Stabbings and drug deals in the parking lot. Last time i went bowling i visiting friends in California , palo alto to be exact and went to use the bathroom and the toilet had stopped the people didn't .2 ft high pile of human crap so pick your poison lol.
Aaahhh, how refreshing: Gold Crown rep doesn't get all offended by a guy just trying to make humor. The cool exchanges that followed between the two of them was what made me want to comment. The Internet is full of hateful trolls, but obviously not completely. Cheers to both of these Gents.
This is one of my life goals
Ricochet Games me to 😍🎳
I fucking know rite
Russell Starner two cost 200k
No way, max would be 45k per lane.
Rich Menace same. And yes it would be 45k per lane
For a new lane it can be anywhere from 50 to 80 thousand depending on how many bells and whistles you get.
Gold Crown what are bells and whistles because I need to know this before installing one into my house
Thats_the_guy_ the costs go up depending on the scoring system and the type of machine.
Gold Crown oh that would be the 82-90XL
Gold Crown from 0:00-1:35 what song was playing in the video?
Gold Crown
Thank you.
If I had a bowling alley in my house I would never be able to get rid of my wife's whole family, because they are big time bowlers, lol.
cubedmack same with me
That’s why you build the bowling alley in their house. Then you’ll never see them!!! Lol.
I'm a big time bowler myself. I'd LIVE in my basement if I got a bowling lane installed.
@@williamcorcoran8842 never I’m not spending that for them. It’s gonna be in my house

Bedder than nothing
And sadly the cost is about the same. Ridiculous!
As an A2 mechanic, I would not want ANYTHING other than a string machine in a home lane. The service required on a free-fall machine... good lord.
How much room do you need for 2 lanes, fullsize?
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
That's an unusual ball return track, isn't it? I guess it minimizes stuck balls at the base of the lift.
And, strings, oh well... definitely low maintenance though.
I'm playing the lotto just to build a house around a 2 lane bowling alley. The plan is to use Brunswick GTX pinspotters (better than AMF)
Zoomer30 terrible idea, invest instead
How much did this cost and did you need permits for this?

I can bowl 20 games a day easily. The math wont add up.
20x$5/game=$100x365=$36,500/year.
Now add gas and car repairs.
I would love to have one built in my home!! A big goal of mine never have to pay at a bowling alley again!! 🙌😃
Do you think you'll spend 75k at a bowling alley in your life time?
I gotta come to your house some time..
how big must the property to have a 2 lane installed
just wondering how many days from start to finish?
Roughly 2 weeks
Do Australians get to install their own private bowling alleys?
yes? probably not by these guys, but you can use more words to get more accurate answers
How much did the same bowling as you cost?
How long did the installation take?
Wondering the same thing. Would have loved to see day stamp on the bottom of the video.
Hey mom I’m going bowling.
*goes into basement*
This is my life goal is to have a private bowling alley in my house
Cool how much money is it to get one lane
How long does this take to build and what are the costs?

One day I. Will hit the lotto and I will have a home alley that's is awesome
Why wait? Just imagine you're making payments on a Cadillac. The problem is finding the room.
+vietorkoreen some people don't go into debt for dumb shit that's why.

Neatest bowling video ever………. How long did it take to set everything up? POP quiz lol
5 minutes and no reward: Nobody bowls and no pinsetter.

Rich Dziuba string machine
Ultimate toy!
Nice to be able to bowl but you should always have 2 lanes.
What's the price now two years later and what's the deal if I want two lanes mean one Lanes kind of stupid you got to have to how can you do your PBA roloffs
Is it me, or even in fast motion did it seem like one guy was doing all the work?
How much does the bowling machine cost?
This is a string machine. It is about $6000. Plus it is low maintenance.

James Shanks we are in the east coast but travel all over. I agree the Brunswick machine is a tank. But it does take a little knowledge.

really cool video and bowling lane in the house, but if you are going to go to all that trouble, put a REAL WOOD lane in, not urethane plastic crap!

I want this
can you guys make me a bowlinglane
what song?
Hey its Annie it is thefatrat xenonagensis
Yes it is fat rat
Way too cramped for a bowling lane. I own an alley and know this is too small
How much does this cost?
It is roughly $75,000 per lane for a private home.
+Gold Crown Holy fucking fuck how do you afford that
+Gold Crown oh Wait nevermind you're the one who installs it
That's a deal, bud. Most places start standard at 99K.
@@vietorkoreen yeah probably installation is what costs. Pinsetters and lane material are only about 15k
Cost?
i wonder what the guy installing this thinks about the people he installs them for
good job

Tonight on ESPN2 flop House bowling where contestants attempt to stay "out of the gutter" in their lifestyle and in their sporting attempts
Bruh the ncs music
more like private house in bowling alley
Underwhelming. Would’ve been better if there were two lanes.
I’m not jealous
No way its worth the price.
That's money.

Figured. Was kidding around. Don't know. Maybe a bowling ball that leaves a wake of flooring behind as it hooks.
They are making lights that do animations like that.
