I'll admit, I watched IGP play this one and damn. What a good game all the way through. This game was made by the same dev who made Trenches - World War 1 Horror Survival Game. I don't know if you've ever played that one or not. It's a great and scary (jump scares, suspense, loud sounds) run through if you have not. Thanks for the video!
My recurring dream was in an old school with 3-4 floors, like early 1900’s style. Just running up and down staircases and going through doors and rooms, it never ended and something was in there somewhere but I never saw anything but man I woke up scared a few times.
Yeah I dont recall things coming out of the wall but I definitely woke up terrified when I was younger. It's crazy that so many people have had so similar nightmares!

A few months late on this one but I have to say great job on playing this, and great job to the devs. As a game, I can appreciate this enormously. It did an amazing job of setting atmo, consequently making it difficult to continue on the psych factor alone. The story hit a little too close to home for me in a certain way. I was subject to extensive bullying as a child, and at the end listening to the three teens talk about harming the young boy, hearing the blind contempt in their words, evoked memories of my earliest bullying episode. It took me a few hours to get over this, especially because I'm now the father of three young children. Anyway, I love your channel!
it’s been a while but seeing “backrooms” in the title drew me in. maybe you should try more simplistic titles. if it’s cool with you, maybe you could do more popular games, like some scp ones. if you do that though, i’d recommend around 20 minute videos on it (so not one continuous playthrough).

@@insomniac2864 it is giving jumpscares but its the cheapest way possible, it doesnt even happen on relation to like turning a corner or something (which is still cheap but at least makes a bit of sense). But in this games its all complete random jumpscares... A well made jumpscare requires a good story, some creepy visual related to the story with a sound that doesnt have to be 1000x higher pitch than the ambiant like in this game. Its fun to see vlad play it.. but the game is hot garbage for a horror game

Imagine if the back rooms was something like a place you go when you're in a coma or something like that. I mean this idea of the back rooms has been around for quite some time and usually not always but sometimes these come from something real, even if we don't realize right away that it's something that we've been through or dreamed about or something. But no one really knows where our minds go when a person is in a coma so who's to say that it's not the back rooms..... Just something that popped in my head while watching this. The storyline was heartbreaking, and (I think) was inspired by true events. The back of the photo at the beginning explains the whole plot. He got what was coming to him for sure. Scary as hell!
A hair drier will give you some ear relief. Weird but it works! Also great stuff on this one Vlad, it really gets under your skin with the monotone environment. Sometimes a lack of ambience is ambience in a very unsettling way.

If he hadn't mistakenly identified the monster's footwear as being flip flops when they were in fact sandals, it could well have pushed him over the edge and he'd be left dribbling and babbling to himself in a corner to this day. It wasn't even sandals worn with socks, just regular sandals! Lucky escape!

Jump scares come when the camera starts to mess up. Kinda helped me after I noticed that detail.

If he hadn't mistakenly identified the monster's footwear as being flip flops when they were in fact sandals, it could well have pushed him over the edge and he'd be left dribbling and babbling to himself in a corner to this day. It wasn't even sandals worn with socks, just regular sandals! Lucky escape!
