    I ran those things for some years , also Skagit slackline machines back in the 70 s early 80 s. lots of hard work and good times.

    Oh man. Brings back some memories of my days pulling rigging in SE AK in the early 70s. Running the same grabinski set up and nasty kinky inch chokers. Thank god I was young!!

    they have an electronic signal box on a belt called a 'talkie tooter' that gives the electric signal.look up talkie tooter on the net.

    We call it logging,or harvesting,but theres no rule on what term you want to use.

    Watched 2 other skadill videos first about the Madill(not operating) and since I know nothing about logging I was kind of disappointed that the only thing it does is drag logs on the hill. Where's the gigantic sawblade? Hydraulic arm.....? Not even a cannon? :P
    Makes for a good lightning rod, wouldn't want to be near it when the thunder comes

      yep, but if you were they guy that used to drag those logs up the hills with mules and manpower then you thought this was the most amazing thing in the world.
