Thanks for the movie Timbertramp, I grew up logging the Island, camp brat as a school kid until family moved to Richmond in 58 so My Brother and I could get a High School education. I spent summer breaks back in camps setting chokers and chasing/second loading. Got My education and used it to fulfill My goal of pulling leavers on Heel Boom Line Loaders. I lasted until 1977 and the industry changed, I moved on and built a career to retirement in the construction industry both residential and commercial. This movie is how I remember Logging, Steel Towers Butt Rigging, Heel Booms, full brim Tin Hats and Boots on the ground.

That area is being harvested again today
I see they were using the stihl contra/lightning. 1106 model.
I think I saw a PM Canadien 275 also
I see tin hard hats. This has to pretty old. Good old WCB haven't allowed these for a long time. But they are ok South of the border.
.
The bad ol' days. Look at the dozer destroying the forest.
The dozer is building road
No Man walks this Earth without leaving a footprint. And thats OK.
Bet ya if you went there today you won't see a sign of where that dozer we're watching worked not one sign
another tree hugging cave dweller?
As he sits in his house made of wood on his phone made from precious metals and petroleum products. Wow
