Gahyeon's eyebrows as the 8th member of the group is somehow too legit for me to argue 😂
Gahyeon is queen of the microexpressions.
Indeed always on point💯
man i feel you,.. thats an attack on the health of every insomnia
The editing here was a masterpiece!
dreamcatcher \:D/
the 'pattern' you noticed is a snake slithering ;) and if you go back to the beginning, the hands behind jiu's head are mimicking snakes :). there's more throughout, like siyeon's makeup is also medusa like, imo :D
I love that they always have this choreo parts that are made for the concept, like the eye formation in Odd Eye, the mouth in Boca, the "devil eyes come, open your eyes" in Scream etc
I wonder if it means anything that JiU, Yooheon and Siyeon are the only ones who have a hoodie on, and are the ones who dance between themselves in the second verse 🤔 Probably not, but it would be a fun lore, I think
this! my first thought was: 3 Moirai (is that how they're called?) in greek mythology, 3 goddesses who thread destiny.
I mean, if we draw an analogy with Medusa in this song...
Probably. Siyeon in the end is the only one still moving and everyone turns to stone when she looks at them and they try to look away (watch Handong and Gahyeon looking at her before she ends the last line).
Aren't there three gorgones in Greek Mythology too?? Three sisters I believe, Medusa is one of them
Dami bodyrolling Somnias to death 😅
This is alternative K-pop. And I love it. Dreamcatchers are the pioneers.
They all looked amazing, but the ultimate mvp might be the lighting. It's so good and amps up everything else.
'there's a clip of her crawling, but lets be respectful' sir i watch this video every morning to replace coffee, and htat is my favorite scene
Yea Gahyeon needs to CHILLAX 😅
Also YOOHYEON OMG
What the... 😱 Something sooo special... ❤ Stan Dreamcatcher ! 👍
After watching this dance video an awful lot of times already, I still dont know what to say.
I guess Pink haired-Center Gahyeon can step on my spine respectfully. 💀🤣
You know the leader of the members we have Siyeon’s vibrato on high notes. Blue hair yooh and gahyeon’s eyebrows ate this cb
Yay!! Glad you checked this out🎉🎉
🎉ladies got me
I actually prefer the showcase performance. All the coolest dance moves are in the dark or not captured in the camera, and something about the red lighting on the showcase was so much more impactful. But damn I love this song.
Handong slayyyyy🥰👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Dreamcatcher !!!
Dreamcatcher Shatter Lyrics Meaning
Dreamcatcher's "Shatter" lyrics express a plea for freedom and intense sensations. The repeated desire to "bang it on me" suggests a willingness to face challenges. The lyrics blend magic, captivation, and a longing for warmth. The recurring theme of turning into stone hints at a transformative experience. The bridge introduces a desire to soar like birds. Overall, the song explores the complex emotions of desire, surrender, and transformation.
The lyrics of "Dreamcatcher Shatter" convey a complex mix of emotions and experiences. In the song, the narrator pleads for the return of their paradise and freedom, expressing a desire for intense sensations that prove challenging to handle. The repeated refrain of "Bang it on me, shatter" suggests a willingness to confront and endure the emotional impact, as if breaking down barriers.
The pre-chorus, sung by Handong, introduces an intriguing element as the narrator contemplates turning into stone after a kiss. This could symbolize a desire for emotional solidity or a protective stance against vulnerability.
The chorus, delivered by multiple members, emphasizes the theme of shattering, possibly representing the breaking point in a relationship. The post-chorus and outro echo the idea of shattering, with a plea to come closer and an acknowledgment of a transformation.
The bridge introduces a metaphor of birds swallowing the narrator, expressing a longing to ascend to the sky, possibly seeking escape or transcendence.
