De ligt looked like a world beater 5 years ago, he’s consistently declined ever since to the point that dier benched him at the end of last season. He might end up as the the player he looked like he would be 5 years ago but recent evidence suggests the opposite.

Geertruida would be a brilliant signing at RB. He’s so solid defensively, is really physical and athletic, elite in possession/build out, and has a knack for scoring goals. He can also play anywhere along the back line since he’s basically two footed. If Slot doesn’t want him at Liverpool, he’d be my choice at RB if we could pull it off.
