Well organized, well edited, well detailed, and very well explained to the point that, as an amateur mechanic, I have zero reservations to perform this myself should my Raptor ever need such work... I was just looking for the oil-bleed bolt torque... Thanks!

At 5.40 when u say becarfull not to drop them well I did drop one how far do I have to go in to the bottom end to get it back out just the crank case I hope plz help
@@travissprague7775 I did something to the same extent. Dropped a wrist pit for wrist for piston down in the motor. Got it out luckily. Thought I was about to be splitting the motor. Stuffed some clean rags down in the hole gave it another shot, and got it. That’s one of them mistakes that you’ll only make one time.
@@greggan100 Glad you are enjoying them and great catch! We considered going back and re-shooting it but the engine had already shipped out to it's new owner.
woww , he make it look so easy, than it really is, i dont think i can make it, even with all the right tools

Clear explanation, thank you so much
If timing is off by a tooth will it affect timing.
Yes
Would this also apply to a yamaha 700 viking ?
Thank you. Great job

Did you get it? I’d pull the crank side case cover off.
@@mitchelldaniel2350 ya I had to pull the cover and magneto was not fun but did my timing chain while I was in there

You forgot to torque down cam sprocket
They were torqued to 14 ft-lb as called out at the 5:55 mark. We just missed catching it on video!
@@PartzillaParts i was waiting for you to go back on to it after cam tension install lol
Brilliant videos as usual and very satisfying. Keep it up👌👍👍👍

Qual e ponto de comando e H ou T nao consegui enxergar bem
Very nice.
Can i take what ive seen here and apply it to a 01 raptor 660r engine???
Similar concept, but different motor.
Where did you get the torque wrench at and how much is it to buy ??
It's just a snap on. You can get it on the tool truck. Probably around $200
I have a 2006 Raptor 700, turns on fine but dies within seconds, any any idea what could be the issue?
Fuel or spark. In this case, I'm guessing fuel.
Partzilla could the fuel pump be bad, even if it primes?
@@sg6722 Yes, just because it primes doesn't mean it's actually pushing fuel.
Another video that doesn't tell you what size the tappet screw is, to know which tappet tool to buy! 3mm? 4mm?
Yes r u Selind Tools.
Best
I must have missed it, but why does a two year old machine need an engine rebuild?
It didn't. We just wanted to build one from scratch and show you the assembly.
@@PartzillaParts did you ever tighten those timing chain sprocket bolts on the head cylinder great job great video
