billy crystal - a very ‘heady’ and cerebral comedian. he tries the audience out to see where they are mentally, and then picks a path, diverging ever so slightly every now and then to humor himself, dave, and the few that can follow his thinking path. you can tell he gets just as much or more satisfaction in the sporadic laughter at an obscure reference, than the audience response at a gut buster. he is in command driving the bus in both realms
I love this Billy, his movies aren't much at this point but as a comedian, and SNL and Comic Relief - this is coming up on his best period. I love billy with a beard. It makes him look 'bad-ass' for him anyways...He looks older without odly.
