Ich hab James Last (ca. 1980) mit Band live erlebt, und obwohl ich als Klassik und Opernfan ausgesprochen kritisch eingestellt war: Das war nicht nur perfekt arrangiert und super-perfekt vorgetragen... Da kam auch richtig was rüber. Der Mann (und seine Leute) haben den großen und dauerhaften Erfolg wirklich verdient !!!

Quite a number of choir members are not looking at the sheet music. They most likely have it memorized, especially if they're Catholic, from the days it was frequently sung during the Mass. In 36 years of weekly Masses, I've heard this once during the offertory and it was instrumental. This version brings me to tears. I hope future generations will sing it.
