I soaked seeds for a day and then put it on a wet paper in an air tight box (to keep inside moist). I got germination in 3-4 days. This is a standard method for every types of seeds. No need for fig leaves etc. Seeds need a warm and moist environment and they will sprout.
What is the reason for wrapping in fig (or some other similar) leaves? What kind of seeds benefit from being wrapped in leaves? Could we just wrap in wet paper towel and put it in a ziplock bag?

Bcoz seeds will get moisture from the leaves and dont get dry out

I notice you have fresh green seeds. Here in the US, by the time we get seeds they're hard and dark brown.
once you soak the seeds ,they are ready to use. I live in US too and using this method my seeds always germinate .

Cover the pot with a plastic...and regularly sprinkle little water...it will cum out early
Haloo sir germination of bottle gourd is good.But some days plants are dye.leaf turn yellow and dye.what reason guid me.
