- Earlier today, "Extra’s” Tanika Ray spoke with former “Bachelor” Nick Viall at Universal Studios Hollywood, where he weighed in on Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s intense breakup with fiancée Becca Kufrin on ABC’s “The Bachelor” last night.

if you watched his season, he explained that he smiles when he's uncomfortable, just a way to alleviate an awkward feeling.
I am quite similar. I do awkward laughs or smiles through sadness as well.
It was hard to look at the finale because Arie didn't know who he wanted through out the show. He had fun with all the women until the end where he had to make a decision. I felt the same way about Nick and Vanessa. I knew he was choosing the wrong woman. She loved her family and being Canadian , she was not leaving her country. Rachel or Raven would have made a better choice. Men are so fickle they don't know who is right for them. Sometimes they think they want one thing but they really want something else. I think every one wants adventure in their lives.

Nick said he couldint relate to what Arie had to go through.
I disagree with what he said,because Arie didn't have to go throw anything those women was played.
That blew me away I don't think Arie tried to do the right thing I think he is confused and dosen't know what he want.
Crystal Boddie I think Nick meant he wasn’t nearly as conflicted about who to propose at the end of his season as Ari seemed to be. Vanessa was “the one” from day one and he stuck to that. Ari decided to fall in love left and right and then seemed to flip a coin and choose Becca. And usually once you flip a coin you find out what you really desired afterwards

Nick is definitely a douche, but being rejected thrice on TV after trying to propose to them does make you go like screw this I am just gonna further my career now. Even Neil lane was like dude I don’t want to see you again during his season of the Bachelor.
