I don't know what it is about these band versions of her songs, but they somehow feel so healing. Sunmi sounds simply amazing and her voice is so soothing.
She is releasing all of the songs that she has basically updated versions for with her live band... you couldn't ask for anything better if you're a fan of live performances with a band that give her music new life. "Narccissism" is infinitely better with more "soul" having the hard rock/metal instrumentals during parts of the chorus.
This is my most played song of ALL time. I saw her play it live in Offenbach this year and I cried my eyes out for the entire duration of the song. I really can't describe it but there is something about Narcissism, its sonic soundscape, the vocals, the message, that just tears me apart and then puts me right back together. It's crazy to be understood like this. When I had nothing, I had this song. Watching this just made me tear up again. What a work of art. Thank you so much, Sunmi. I used to not really enjoy this song much when listening to it, but ever since I heard it at the concert I was mesmerized and in tears about how beautiful this song is. I still feel the atmosphere, with the blue lighting, sunmi going all out, all the fans singing together.. It was such a beautiful moment and definitely one of the best song she performed this night.
