Boatwright’s is one of my boyfriend’s and my favorites. The rare prime rib is outstanding. We had a lovely server from Slovenia 🇸🇮 who is very proud of our former First Lady. We had a delightful conversation about her country and working at WDW. We will definitely go back.
I truly feel that Boatwright’s is a hidden gem❤ The cornbread and the pimento cheese appetizer are delicious🎉 We also sat by the fireplace the last time we went😄 So cozy!
Have you ever done Coral Reef. I have been there 3 times now and have always had a great experience. I love the atmosphere with all of the fish swimming around and sometimes a turtle swims by. The shrimp and grits are the best.
Deni, you are looking beautiful!! We were hesitant to eat here after reading the negative reviews! We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was! My Hubby enjoyed the French Onion Soup! I’m willing to give this restaurant another try after your review. I haven’t been here in years as we had a bad experience in food and service. It appears things have gotten better.
My best friend and I had a great meal last winter! Did you know the “Taste of the Bayou” entree can be shared among 2 people? The cast members will bring plates, or if you each order one it’s refillable - much like a “family style” meal!
Riverside is my favorite Moderate hotel. I have not eaten there. I will have to give it a try. I enjoy your reviews so much. I especially love that you order mocktails! As person that doesn’t drink, it’s hard to find reviews about them.
The whole time I was there Boatwrights was one of the only restaurants that always had all it's reservation slots open which made me think the food there must not be very good. I guess not.
We went to Boatwrights in June 2024. My 15 y/o daughter is a very picky eater and she ate mac & cheese for almost every lunch and dinner at several different places. She said Boatwrights Kids Mac & Cheese was the best of all of them. I had the Pimento Cheese Fritters and they were delicious. I also had the Jambalaya Farro Salad - I thought it was great. My husband and mom each got the Taste of the Bayou All You Care to Enjoy Platters. It was a fun meal!
Just watched your review it was really good my family is from England we've stayed at port Orleans twice before and were staying there next yr for 2 weeks from the 4th july I've never really thought about eating at boatwrights but I'm definately going to try it out when we get there this time the food looked good and so did the cost once again great review
I watch all your meals! As a post bariatric surgery person, I think how can I get a taste of all that yumminess. I know I will never eat at a buffet or all you care to eat place again. But I can share with the hubby, or get an appetizer for my meal. I could easily make a soup and salad meal, or a soup and dessert meal out of your selections!
Looks like Boatwright’s has upped its game. My wife and I have stayed at Port Orleans multiple times and we always avoided it because we heard such bad reviews. That looks to be no longer the case. Thanks Deni!
