      @@greenspider3664 If I'm understanding it correctly, it keeps the heating up while steaming because the temp is dropping, so you will have a lot more steaming capacity as it keeps producing steam that way.

    Thank you for explaining and being thorough. It was nice to see the workflow in a more realiestic setting rather than in a glamourous studio enviroment other youtubers use. Am planning on upgrading from a Delonghi dedica EC685 to a setup like this one. Am finding the dedica a little limiting, but it is fine for beginners and for smaller apartments.

    This video is awesome! I’ve been toying with the idea of this mod versus the shades of coffee mods. Admittedly, this mod has been a little intimidating, so I was leaning towards shades of coffee. After seeing your video, I’m reconsidering. You mentioned there were some pre-orders that avoided the Lego build. I wasn’t sure if that just meant all the components come in a kit, or if some of the components were preassembled. Can you please clarify? Also, where can I find that group pre-order? Thank you!

    Great video! I‘m thinking about doing this project. A few questions: why is the temperature at around 110°C at the end? Why does it say 52 grams or so when you only measured 42 grams or so? How does the system measure the output weight?

    • @beebles2499
      @beebles2499  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      the boiler heats a lot through the shot to compensate for temp loss through group head. The system needs to be calibrated for the water dispensed before it reads accurately. The system is estimating the water dispensed based on the signals it sends to the water pump. Different beans, grinds, and other factors like humidity result in different amounts of backpressure and flow characteristics which affect how much water is sent through the group head in a given amount of time with the same power output from the pump. You need to adjust this setting in the system when you use different beans/different grind. Also make sure to watch a different video. Some of the schematics are now different than when i made the video,

    • @petrowolke
      @petrowolke หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@beebles2499 that heat compensation thing sounds vastly inferior compared to pre heated brew groups..?
