Am I the only one or s there anyone else that thinks this lady needs to go on American idol or some other simulate show. I mean how many people can take a song thats best in classical and still make it good as a jazz redub and even more so the song was originally in another language.
This is my favourite version of Daughter of evil. You sound so beautiful and you give the song such charm that its hard not to get lost while listening. Also if I may add, I freaking LOVE your accent, it and your amazing lyrics make the song sound very sophisticated and I especially love it when you'd say "Oh my, it's time for tea" That alone manages to sends chills down my spine every time :)

Your voice is so beautiful and mature, I really love it. It's very well suited to this version of the song as well. And these lyrics are probably the best English adaptation I have ever heard. They really tell the story. All in all, I'd love to see more covers from you, you're really, really good :)
I really enjoyed listening to this cover. It's different from what I'm used to hearing and at first I'll admit I didn't like it but it really grew on me. It's very unique and you have such as lovely voice.
I have been a fan of the Daughter of Evil series for a while now, and let me just say this is the best English version I have ever heard of Daughter of Evil. This, along with xzerulx91 tragically taken down version of Servant of Evil are truly magnificent. Thank you so much for this wonderful video and this wonderful dub of a fantastic song.
I have only one word to describe this: STUNNING. The lyrics were perfect, and you sing with such emotion, I was chilled to the bone - in a good way, that is ;)
Just so you know I LOVE all ur covers ! I do ADORE this one all lot the way u sing it . It's just so original and beautiful :) keep up the amazing work

OMG!!! Beautiful indeed!! You sound like a french person in this. Usually i don't find such singing talent in (this english version song) like you. :D When i first hear this, i was like *jaw drop open* Then when you say "You... ragged, unmannerly dogs!" , my jaw dropped open even wider. And i stay like that even for a few moment after the song end. Your Highness, truly does sounded just like a queen yourself. *Bows down* I'm not worthy of your presence.
..........😧......😍😍😍😍😍😍 WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE!!!! By far the BEST Version of the song ever, I mean the voice is so beautiful I'm falling for the person who sings this song...and I'm a girl! Lol
Anger and fury, built up over time Surrounded the country, counting all her wicked crimes All her majesty had for defence Were some soldiers old and tired from the previous wars’ torment The castle’s gates broken and the walls collapsed Servants and maids ran away, relieved perhaps Sweet and lovely queen of this country far away Was captured, to her dismay Dreadful rose of sin You bloom in dread alone Shining in scarlet, in a sad, haunting tone Paradise is lost for the maiden of vice O it crumbled and shattered like brittle crisp ice Once upon a time in a country far away Where a lot of crimes were committed every day There was a young lady, fourteen years of age Crowned as the Queen, dancing on history’s stage Her death was scheduled at three in the afternoon When the great bells of the church would boom The person who used to be known as the queen Sat in her cell, knowing she’d never turn fifteen
Just beautiful! I like how you chose the Jazz Waltz version, and your voice is perfect for it. I don't know how but it sound a little.. English, like a real aristocrat. Then your voice goes a little opera in the chorus, which adds more majestic and over the top attitude like Rin has. A classy sounding, which is perfect.
Finally, long awaited, the time had come The deafening chimes sounded a little bit glum The crowd showed not a sign of sympathy Grinning to the world, said “she" “Oh my, it’s time for tea" Dreadful rose of sin You wilt in dread alone Shining in scarlet sending chills to the bone People today, they sing this song to their kin “Now that was the story of the lady of sin.”

@Saluhtem Thanks for the recommendations :D I decided to keep things vague since that's the way the Japanese version did it, but yours is very nice as well ^^
This was...T.T Amazing! It brought tears to my eyes!It was sang from a true English woman! I could feel the chills of the previous eras go down my spine! This song just put me in a trance.Amazing voice!Amazing lyrics!Amazing song!
There might be a way you can get the song if u go on google n type 'youtube mp3 converter'. Then you might be able to get a site that will let you get the song. Key word being "might" hope that helps :)
@Governm3nt That's debatable. Allen is the name used in the Story of Evil stage play and novels, but I'm not sure if Mothy recognizes Allen over Len. Personally, I prefer the more regal sounding names, like Allen>Len and Rilliane>Rin. They just sound cooler.
4:40 "Knowing she'd never turn fifteen"
This one line filled me with such sadness. I guess I've never thought of it like that..
Actually it was the day before her (his) last birthday
“A beautiful country where the sunflowers bloomed
Where the castles were so high they touched the horizons
Whose destiny was it
To wear the queen’s jewelled crown, to sit on her elegant throne?”
Once upon a time in a country far away
Where a lot of crimes were committed every day
There was a young lady, fourteen years of age
Crowned as the Queen, dancing on history’s stage
She bought her luxuries, spending without heed
A servant with the same face coming to her every need
Josephine’s the name of her royal steed
She had everything one can ever want indeed
We are short on money, but I want a diamond ring
Squeeze out every penny from the peasants’ savings
Anybody standing up against the queen’s demand
Will be sent to the guillotine on command
“Now, on your knees, peasant!”
Dreadful rose of sin You bloom in dread alone
Shining in scarlet sending chills to the bone
Pathetic weeds growing on the soil around
O wither and die without making a sound
Our lady tyrant, she was in love you see
With a fine young man who lived across the stormy seas
Yet another woman, both very fair and wise
Was the lucky one who caught the man’s eyes
Her Highness soon was mad with jealousy
Called out her right hand man with just one minor plea
Very quietly she sipped on her tea
“I want to hear the girl scream in agony.”
Thus the little village hidden in the forest deep
Burned in the night with the villagers asleep
Not one single tear despite all the people’s cries
Fell from our lady’s icy eyes
“Oh my, it’s time for tea!”
Dreadful rose of sin You bloom in dread alone
Shining with malice sending chills to the bone
Your beauty cannot ever be compared
O but your venomous thorns are like a viper’s fangs bared
The queen of evil must certainly be killed
Out of the people’s hearts frustration spilt
Leading the mob was a woman in red
Her bloodred armor = the blood of the dead
Anger and fury, built up over time
Surrounded the country, counting all her wicked crimes
All her majesty had for defence
Were some soldiers old and tired from the previous wars’ torment
The castle’s gates broken and the walls collapsed
Servants and maids ran away, relieved perhaps
Sweet and lovely queen of this country far away
Was captured, to her dismay
“You… ragged, unmannerly dogs!”
Dreadful rose of sin You bloom in dread alone
Shining in scarlet, in a sad, haunting tone
Paradise is lost for the maiden of vice
O it crumbled and shattered like brittle crisp ice
Once upon a time in a country far away
Where a lot of crimes were committed every day
There was a young lady, fourteen years of age
Crowned as the Queen, dancing on history’s stage
Her death was scheduled at three in the afternoon
When the great bells of the church would boom
The person who used to be known as the queen
Sat in her cell, knowing she’d never turn fifteen
Finally, long awaited, the time had come
The deafening chimes sounded a little bit glum
The crowd showed not a sign of sympathy
Grinning to the world, said “she”
“Oh my, it’s time for tea!”
Dreadful rose of sin You wilt in dread alone
Shining in scarlet sending chills to the bone
People today, they sing this song to their kin
“Now that was the story of the lady of sin.”
Thank you for the lyrics!
YOU ECHOED THE LYRICS FROM SERVANT OF EVIL! I LOVE THIS! YOU EVEN USED LEN'S VOICE FOR THE PARTS AFTER THEY SWITCHED PLACES!
Bubble Bellarina thanks so much 😍😍😍 you noticed ☺️☺️
This is such an oldie but goodie. It's been years, but this rendition never fails to amaze me
Am I the only one or s there anyone else that thinks this lady needs to go on American idol or some other simulate show. I mean how many people can take a song thats best in classical and still make it good as a jazz redub and even more so the song was originally in another language.
Yeah, she's so talented (?). Well, Her Higness' voice is the one who I love~
ikr
Joshua Thinker IK but A TH-camr named "Froggie" made her own English cover. And it was really good. Both of them (this and froggie's) is Really good!
My favorite lines were
"I want to hear the girls scream in agony"
And
"Now that was the story of the lady of sin"
It’s 13 years old and I still keep coming back to my favorite cover
This is my favourite version of Daughter of evil. You sound so beautiful and you give the song such charm that its hard not to get lost while listening.

Fun Fact! The Servant Of Evil leitmotif plays at 2:44 and Regret Message at 5:29!
Your voice is so beautiful and mature, I really love it. It's very well suited to this version of the song as well.
And these lyrics are probably the best English adaptation I have ever heard. They really tell the story.
All in all, I'd love to see more covers from you, you're really, really good :)
Your voice reminded me of Alois Trancy (Don't ask why) and that fact made this cover even more better (Not that its bad its awesome)
Their voice only sound similar in this song because of the tone
Me too
Rhyme I know right
I dont know what it is but when you say 'Oh wither and die' you say that flawlessly. Great cover!
"I want to hear girl scream in agony"

I'm honestly surprised!! You're Len and Rin versions are so different and just perfect! Your voice is really flexible :D

I realized it was Allen's voice playing Rin's part showing that they switched places.
I love your cover, it is so epic and I love the jazz like spin on it. So diffrent and I can't spot playing it over and over :D
i love how you can make the deep voice, and it's not that croaky like mine
Fantage Candi I can Do a Low voice that makes me sound like Gerard Way.. but I sound seductive like an incubus... Ugh.. BUT ALL DEM GIRLS THO.
Just beautiful! I like how you chose the Jazz Waltz version, and your voice is perfect for it. I don't know how but it sound a little.. English, like a real aristocrat.
