Nice, Greg! My Grandpa used to throw fishbits up for one of these to catch while fishing for 'Grunter' in his little fibreglass boat in the estuary at Port St. Johns. I believe they filmed 'Shout at The Devil' there, just after I visited.
Hey Greg, where are you from? You should risk the journey to Borakalalo Game Reserve (Klipvoor Dam) in South Africa. The Fish Eagles are plentiful in summer. But so are the Crocs and the Hippos... so be on alert! Also, it's hard to miss the Lilac-breasted Rollers. I know they're incredibly common, but they're still such beautiful birds to photograph.
The sound of Africa ❤
Went through my ears, passed my heart and reached my soul
Took me a long time and a lot of attempts to capture that call. Glad you appreciate it!
