Thanks Abdullah, Nice to hear this. But hey harakiri is always an open option for these numpties.
Appreciate the channel for showing the true beauty and image of Nigeria to the world. As an Indian, I don't understand why are African countries always shown in poor light full of diseases and poverty and all negative things. Here, it shows the real normal life of people and the beauty of its landscape. My country is also subject to this kind of negative image and I appreciate the FTD Facts team to bring out the positives about Nigeria out to the world. To my Nigerian friends; there are good and bad people everywhere. Just work hard like you do, enjoy life and focus on transforming yourself into the great civilization you once were. Much respect.
40% of my DNA comes from Nigeria, my mother carries 50%. Culturally I know I’m not Nigerian, but interestingly we carry many Nigerian habits in our family. Smart?? I speak 3 languages and can read 4, plus I always “end up” in management in my work life. Thank you Nigerian ancestors.
Props to You and Your Family Kevin!! Your Mom has half of Nigerian blood flowing through her veins which means your Ancestors that were brought to America was from Nigeria. I have Nigerian/Ghana blood flowing through Me. My Mom should have a large % of Nigerian/Ghana in her. Are You thinking of visiting Africa? or Nigeria? or any of the countries within' the Continent?

Ayomiposi Adejola ....Yes Great Britain also stole all of the Bronze artifacts from Edo state. They need to return our wealth . And burn all the written scripts that holds most of our history and lied that we could not read or write.

Please do one on the Benin Empire that existed in Nigeria before the European destroyed it and stole all the bronze. I am from Liberia and we studied ancient West Africa empires.. The reason Nigerians are smart is because they study very hard. Anybody who studies hard can be smart as well. In Nigeria, every student competes to be the smartest. Before emigrating to the United States, I attended a junior college equivalent of a higher school education, majoring in English, Economics, and Political Science, in addition to what was known as a "General Paper” or general studies. We had a minimum of nine textbooks for each major. There were more textbooks prescribed for English. We read Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales in its original Medieval English. The instructor simply lectured, while students took notes and did their own research. For an exam, there was no such thing as the instructor telling us what to expect, or what areas to study. All we needed to know was that there will be an examination and the date of the examination. We were to prepare for any question that might be on the exam. Simply repeating material from the notes we took in class was not enough for a good grade. We needed to present original material based on our own research. No “open book” exam. When I attended a university in the United States, I realized I was far ahead of the other students because I encountered the same textbooks I already read while in Nigeria. In some exams, we had multiple choice questions. Instructors actually brought textbooks to the classroom and read them with the students and told the students the specific chapters to study for the examination. I thought that was funny.
