    That was pure agony! I am 67 yo woman. This has been getting worse and worse so that I can't ride my horse anymore because of my hip restriction. I can't properly follow the exercises yet, but I will work on this. I can't keep myself against the wall! I will let you know how this works for me. No one has yet been able to show me how to correct this and I am so excited. It is a killer right now but feels right!! Thank you!

      Thanks for letting me know how it's going. It sounds like you might want to do the video for hip pain as well, or instead, but please keep me posted on how the exercises feel. I'm happy to help anytime. If you every want a personalized set of exercises, let me know and I can send you something very specific to you.

    😮 I noticed a hugh difference during the exercises, of course, I need to be consistent with it for the next days but I need to tell you that this in toeing was hurting all my leg and with the exercises (and wasn't easy to do) I felt so much pain relief at the end and I can walk more freely now! Thank you so much for this video ❤❤❤

    Thank you! You are the only hit that shows Adults who walk toed in how to help themselves. My left foot/leg has become increasingly toed in over the last several months, really affecting my gait. I can feel how these exercises can help straighten that leg. How often should people do the exercises?

    • @davidstarbucksmith
      @davidstarbucksmith  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for your question and thanks for watching! I would do the exercises 4-5 days per week to start and then see how it goes after a few weeks to a month.

    😊i have this, wore braces as a kid. Ive always been pigeon toed. Now im 56 and my left foot seems to be turning in more and more, where i actually trip over it while waking. I hope these excercises help mine.

    • @davidstarbucksmith
      @davidstarbucksmith  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I hope so too! Keep me posted. Your foot turns in more which indicates a lack of abduction and external rotation. You'll also notice as your foot turns in more, your hip and trunk might rotate as well. Keep up the exercises, and please let me know how it goes. I'm happy to help more if needed!

    I am going to try this and will report the results. Are there any additional shoe inserts or footwear that can also assist as progress is being made? Thanks for the video!

    • @davidstarbucksmith
      @davidstarbucksmith  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! Thank you for watching and for your question. I recommend doing the exercises for several weeks and noticing the results. You may not need anything more, and I hate to recommend inserts or special shoes unless they're needed for a lot of pain and the exercises aren't helping. Keep me posted on your progress!

    Hi David, thanks for these. I'm 72 and was born pigeon toed left foot. Struggled with back and hip pain for many years. I finally gave in to a hip replacement in March and now I am struggling with tight shoulders, thoracic, and neck. I swim 4 days a week and do somatic stretches and all the exercises you showed except the last 2. I will give these a try. Do you have any shoulder/neck exercises to recommend? Thanks again!

      Hi! Thanks so much for your message. Yes, I have several videos on shoulder and neck exercises. Check out my channel for a video specific to neck pain. Let me know if you don't find it and I'll send it to you!

    For someone who is pigeon toed on one foot, should the foot circle exercises be done on that foot only? Or is there a benefit for doing them on both feet?

    • @davidstarbucksmith
      @davidstarbucksmith  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Always do both feet. Each foot will need the motion, stability, and strength in its own way.

    Wow. That actually worked! My shins hurt like heck, but it worked. Will the muscles eventually learn how to work with the feet without the daily exercises?

    • @davidstarbucksmith
      @davidstarbucksmith  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes! It takes time to build up the neurological pattern but eventually it will pay off! Keep up the great work and thanks for the question.

    Wow, this hurts both my ankles doing these foot circles!
    I was born breach and had to wear foot brace for many years as a young kid. But I'm still pigeon toed and I Hate it. When I'm concentrating as Im walking I make myself walk like a duck feet outwards however this doesn't last long!
    I will continue doing these daily and see if it helps. Bev

      You tell me! Do the exercises every day or 3-5 times per week for two months and let me know how you do. Normally, the exercises can help change someone fairly quickly, but everybody and every body is different!

    I have this problem and I find that I can sit back on my heels cause it feels uncomfortable and like my heels can’t extend enough. Do you have any exercises for that?

    • @davidstarbucksmith
      @davidstarbucksmith  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not sure I totally understand, but it sounds like you can't sit on your heels because of a big stretch across the front of your ankle? Please clarify and I can guide you better.

    • @mbalim.4180
      @mbalim.4180 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ yes. Sorry for the confusion, but I can’t sit on my heels with my legs folded. It feels like something is pulling on my ankle at the top of my feet and my toes can’t fully relax with feeling like they are going to cramp in this position.

    My gait is slightly pigeon-toed, moreso on the left foot than the right foot. But this is only evident when I wear shoes. When I walk barefoot, it looks normal.
    Is this sort of thing normal?

    • @davidstarbucksmith
      @davidstarbucksmith  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm guessing the shoe merely exaggerates the in-toeing but I can almost guarantee your left isn't the same as your right. Let me know how you do with the exercises and if something changes, even in the shoe!

      Yes. It's all a matter of retraining the nervous system with repetition. Keep me posted on how it goes and thanks for your comment!
