Great tones come from you, the player! My band mates don’t care what my pedalboard is. They just care if I nail my parts, and that I don’t play over them nailing their parts.
I could not agree more. We have to realize the only people who REALLY care are the other guitarists at the show. Who only make up a small percentage of the people there to hear the BAND! You got it man!
Great video! I’m recording in my studio a lot, and never thought about recording guitars in mono. Total different question, which TV and video card are you using?
Tracking guitars in mono really give you a powerful guitar section. You can always double track a part and it will feel bigger and wider than if you tracked it once in mono. Man, I’m using a Mac mini and just HDMI into a big ole tv. That’s it man. I love the size. When I have clients in the room with me, it helps then feel more involved with the process and able to see what I’m working on and give references, “hey at measure number 47 change this” etc. They feel more engaged.
@@ChadoFax Caused some clipping through my PA speaker. Had to turn them down a touch. Well worth the price though, cheers for not pulling the piss price wise. Ledg
One thing I always suggest is make sure your helix is not sending “line” level. It’s in global settings. I run mine “isnt” and “mic”. It gives you way more headroom on your PA gain input. Just a suggestion.
Hey Chad, I've checked your website a couple times for those Anberlin presets you mentioned over on Instagram. Do you still have plans to release those?
I’ve played with artists and bands such as Israel Houghton, Anberlin, Kari Jobe along with a ton of other artists. I’ve toured a lot, so there’s a high probability we’ve crossed paths.
I actually do not own a Bilt guitar. I’d love to though. I had the privilege of getting to tour their factory in Iowa a few years back. Great guys, killer guitars, and such creative care put into their work. Maybe one day I’ll get one.

Miss the vids and sweet tones🔥
Thank you SO much. Doing my best to push new content more frequently!
Holy shit these are loud presets
Louder is more better! Sorry about that if it caused some pain. Thanks for grabbing some presets!

"There's no room!"....brilliant. This must be an eye-opener for many guitar-players. It is not about you. Do you use a power cab live?
I do, love when I get to have some air moving on stage.
@@ChadoFax still hoping for buying a powercab one day.

That video is coming!!! So pumped to get those to you all!
What bands do you play in Chad? I think our paths have crossed one in a long time ago.. lol

@@ChadoFax awesome! Just moving to Texas in about a month: played in fun bands that I’m sure that we passed each other lol. Great presets btw!!
Also let’s hear your Bilt guitars!!
