Scooters are now considered unisexual and people with bikes or cars are buying scooters as their secondary vehicles, while others are buying them as their primary vehicles. One of the most affordable scooters is the Runner Skooty 110.
Runner Automobile Limited started its journey back in 2000. Since Runner has developed from a single company to a complete empire of industries. Runner in Bangladesh is known for being a motorcycle manufacturer and a motorcycle importer. Runner prides itself in producing bikes that are “made in Bangladesh”. The runner has only one scooter in their complete lineup, and that is the Runner Skooty 110. The Runner Skooty 110 is a commuting scooter that is compact and has a lot of value for money.
Runner Skooty 110 is the all-new scooter introduced to the Runner line of products in the year 2020. The scooter was equipped with a completely new look and features. It’s sleek, simple, and mostly a commuter-friendly scooter that has an attractive and useful appearance.
In terms of appearance, the new model was created quite well and incorporated the bone structure. This is why the floorboard has a flat surface to the feet of the rider, and the engine sits beneath the seat. The front of the scooter was nicely wrapped in an aerodynamic jacket that was curvy. It had indicators mounted on panels and was finished nicely by a Front wheel’s front fender.
The headlamp is mounted on the cockpit. It’s a larger unit where the ODO-meter analog is in a curved position to face the rider on the top in the front of his head. The dash is attractively displayed as is the control switch. On the bottom are two pockets that run along with the panel. The rider can put in items such as gloves, goggles, or other personal items.
Key Features:
The Runner Skooty 110 comes with a fully analog instrument cluster. The cluster has a speedometer, an odometer, a trip meter, and a fuel gauge. As it is a scooter, it does not have any manual gear shifting, hence the scooter does not require any gear position indicator.
The Runner Skooty 110 comes in three colors. They are:
Black. Blue. Red. The scooter has very simple yet sporty decals.
Physical Attributes:
As previously mentioned, the Runner Skooty 110 comes with a compact body, which is intended to squeeze through the hectic city traffic. The weight of the scooter is not officially declared, but it can be assumed from the appearance that the scooter will be quite light. This scooter comes with a fuel capacity of around 5liters, so basically you have to top up your fuel tank now and then.
The length, width, and height of the Runner Skooty 110 are 1780mm, 770mm, and 1230mm. It also has a low saddle height; however, the saddle is quite wide, which may cause problems for riders under 5’3” in heavy traffic. The scooter also has a low ground clearance of 150mm, which is highly unsuitable for Bangladesh, especially with a pillion. The wheelbase is only 1270mm, which is quite less and might make it unstable at high-speed cornering
Engine and Transmission:
The Runner Skooty 110 comes with a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, and 104cc engine. The engine is air-cooled. It has electric and kicks start both. The engine provides 6.97BHP of power at 7500rpm and 7Nm of torque at 6500rpm. The scooter may not be the best when it comes to fuel efficiency but is expected to have an average mileage of around 40-45kmpl.
Brakes, Suspensions, and Wheels:
The Runner Skooty 110 comes with a disc-drum setup. The front wheel has a single disc, which increases the braking efficiency significantly. It comes with a drum brake at the rear wheel, which is quite common when it comes to scooters. If it had a rear disc as well, the braking of the scooter would have been at the top among the scooters of this section.
Competition:
The Runner Skooty 110 has competitions in both 100cc and 110cc segments. Here only scooters are mentioned, mopeds are not taken into account.

ভাই এখন দেখছি পালছার কিনে এক হাজার দুই হাজার কিলো চালানোর পরে বেচে দেয় এর কারণ কি এ নিয়ে একটা ভিডিও দিতেন নতুন যারা গাড়ি কিনবে তাদের জন্য ভালো হবে

১ লাখ ৩ হাজারের স্কুটারের সাথে ১ লাখ ৪০+ স্কুটারের তুলনা করলে তো হবে না ভাই। আমার ফ্রেন্ডের আছে এই বাইক, আমি নিজেও চালিয়েছে, ৪০+ মাইলেজ আসে , ৬০-৭০ স্পিডে। ৫ হাজার কিলো চলেছে। আমার কাছে দাম অনুযায়ী ভালোই মনে হয়েছে। আর স্কুটারে মাইলেজ একটু কম আসে, কারন এটা বেল্টের মাধ্যমে চলে।

Usually the rear disc only comes with premium scooters. At least within the 3 lac budget there is no scooter with a rear disc.
