I got this exact green Bible a week ago today. It is an incredible Bible for the value. I committed to reading the NKJV this year after so many years reading the NASB. It ticks off a lot of boxes for me: single-column; verse-by-verse; portable; attractive green cover; inside-column reference; bold verse numbers to indicate a new paragraph; the readable comfort print. I'm enjoying reading from this Bible. Hopefully, Thomas Nelson will come out with a premier collection edition with black letter only, and thicker paper. It would be the unicorn Bible for me. Thank you Tim. I do like the look of it. Verse by verse single column is nice & I like the references in the gutter ( I have a hard time writing notes in the gutter space). I only wish it was a little larger font as the premium.
I’m very glad I saw the notice for this video! The NKJV is my favorite version. I really like the single column verse-by- verse format. I also like the cross-references in any Bible I choose. I like the references on the inside of the column rather than the outside. I would have liked a larger typeface; but since I wear reading glasses, the 9 point type should be just fine. I am putting this Bible on my wishlist, thanks to your review. The version you are showing is quite attractive, but I will probably be buying the hardback as it is usually the least expensive, which is a real consideration for me. Thanks so much for your presentation!
I don't get why they're not always in the gutter, pushing the text AWAY from the gutter. I like the SCR, but having to shift the book side to side to catch the last two letters per line bothers me. Supposedly they're bound looser now to compensate but IDK.
I’ve been looking for your playlist of note taking bibles, with a bigger print. Don’t see any. All my bibles I love to write in The older I get the more I love note taking inside my my bibles
I am still digging the single column reference on the outer margin, although I've largely jumped down to the compact edition of it. 9pt font, 36 GSM, red highlights, genuine leather in the same size as a Clarion.
Thomas Nelson is doing wonderful things with their leathersoft for sure, But I wish they would pair it with a vinyl liner. Those paper liners start to crack in just a few weeks if you actually read the Bible regularly.
My wife has been wanting a single column verse by verse and I thought this might be the perfect one but she finds the 9 too small. Hope it will come with bigger type size.

I think they had a Journal The Word Reference Bible with this layout but a margin on the right. I have it in KJV (maybe the same you have) but I think it was also released in NKJV.
Well, this is nice and certainly a step in the right direction for Thomas Nelson. They still have a long way to go to catch up with the LSB ICR design though. The LSB has 40 gsm paper, 11pt font, black letter text and red accents even in their faux leather version. They also separate footnotes and references very nicely. I prefer the NKJV translation however.
I like the inside references, but would probably rather have the paragraph format, I do like how they did the poetic formatting. Also, it’s because of you that I know what “prose” means!
Hey Tim! Important question. I’m in love with the ESV Heirloom Heritage Edition, but I’m not in love with the Wellington, Goatskin, or Prussian Blue. Are there any alternatives prints or binds or leathers that I can look into?
I wouldn't ask you to review anything for just me, but do you know of any premium Orthodox bibles and/or any Orthodox Scripture journals with the deuterocanonical books along with them? It's been so hard to find a good leather Bible with the Orthodox old testament and any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Love to have it. But at my age 9 pt font is way too small. I would use a reference at home anyways. Wished was bigger font.

Single Column Wide Margin has the absolute best layout IMO it's pushing the Humle Lamb Shepherd as my "The One".

Check out my videos on rebinders... they can work wonders. I LOVE the green calfskin that EVB did, but it quickly sold out.

I don't like fonts in Bibles smaller then 9.5 point.
It can be too small for some.
That is an ugly Bible. We needed another reference Bible.
I don't think it's ugly. I think it looks cool. But we all have different opinions.
