This is absolutely possible for ordinary people. There is skill in what she's doing, but the center of balance is much more forgiving than people think, making this construction not nearly as difficult. That's why there is a duplicate of this exact video with an Italian woman doing the same feat with...basically the same bones. The fact that they are large makes balancing even easier.

To see what I mean watch the collapsing again from both, anyway the italian has more sofisticated movements meantime the performance because she is younger but the japanese might say that: Practise it even more 10-20 years because your collapsing is still ugly!
